It's a fab Feb for fanatics!

So you've done your holidays, shaken off the rust and cobwebs, and now you are ready to crack on in 2023. Well do we have a fabulous February of sport for you to help you hit your straps early. It might not be the longest month, but it's got just as much action as its longer brothers and sisters!

The 2023 Six Nations kicks off this coming weekend and the highlight of the opening weekend will no doubt the the Calcutta Cup fixture between England and Scotland - a fixture that has been won by the unfancied Scots on the last two occasions.

Rugby's most storied tournament runs through until 18 March, and with the World Cup starting in Sept, the stakes are as high as they ever can be.

What an absolute thrill the first edition of the SA20 has been - an unqualified success. And we are now at crunch time, with the semis and final just around the corner.

Details are:
- semifinals: Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th at 5:30pm.
- final: Saturday 10th at 4:30pm.

Women's T20 World Cup. SS cricket and Grandstand channels

South Africa plays host to the world as the best female players on the planet battle it out for glory. The tournament runs from 10-26 February.

Don't miss the opening game - SA v Sri Lanka on Friday 10th at 7pm.

Makhachev v Volkanovski

UFC’s pound-for-pound kings will square up in a battle of the champions at UFC 284, at the RAC Arena, in Perth, Australia, in the early hours of Sunday, 12 February 2023.

Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev (No 2 ranked pound-for-pound fighter) will put his title on the line against Featherweight champions Alexander Volkanovski (No 1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter), who will be stepping up a weight class and looking to become only the second fighter (other than Conor McGregor) to hold both the featherweight and lightweight titles.

--- LIV Golf League - Mayakoba. 24-26 Feb ---

The LIV Golf League swings into action for the first time in 2023 with the first of its 14 events. El Camaleón at Mayakoba, Mexico, will host the season opener where the likes of Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson and Louis Oosthuizen (among other golfing superstars) will battle it out for the first $25m (form a total prize fund of $405m) on offer for the winning player and team.
