Magesi maintain winning momentum at MFC summit
Magesi continued to set the pace at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship this weekend, following their 2-0 win against a spirited Baroka FC outfit at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The table toppers recorded their fourth win in succession this weekend and have now amassed 36 points from 20 matches played so far.
In keeping up with the pace set by Magesi, Orbit College recorded a 2-1 win against Venda Football Academy at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.
While Orbit bounced back from their 1-0 defeat against Casric Stars recorded last week, the University of Pretoria lost ground in their hunt for a PSL Promotion finish after their 0-0 stalemate with Platinum City Rovers at the Isak Steyl Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
As it stands, AmaTuks are now one point behind log leaders Magesi, while Platinum City moved into 14th position, level on points (19) with Marumo Gallants and Venda Football Academy who occupy 15th and 16th position respectively.
Elsewhere, Black Leopards made it two wins out of two this weekend, following their 2-0 win against Casric Stars at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The result saw Leopards leapfrog Casric Stars into seventh position with 29 points gained after 20 matches.
