PSL release fixtures to conclude 2019-20 season

The Premier Soccer League have announced the fixtures for the remainder of the 2019-20 Absa Premiership and GladAfrica Championship season, with a tasty tie between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates to get the top-flight back underway.

Sundowns will host The Buccaneers at their temporary Dobsonville Stadium home on Tuesday, 11 August at 6pm CAT (SA, GMT+2) in what is the first game back in the Premiership.

Kaizer Chiefs will take on BidVest Wits the following day at the Orlando Stadium in a match that also has a 6pm kick-off.But by then, matches would have resumed in the Nedbank Cup and Championship.

The Nedbank Cup semifinals between Sundowns and Wits and Baroka FC and Bloemfontein Celtic will both be played on 8 August, though the PSL has yet to confirm venues and kick-off times.

The Championship gets back under way on 9 August as Real Kings take on Cape Umoya United and Richards Bay meet TS Sporting.

The final round of Premiership games will be played on 5 September, with the Nedbank Cup final three days later on 8 September. The venue for the decider has not yet been announced.

The Championship season will finish on 30 August, with the Promotion/Relegation Playoffs to start on 6 September. The playoffs will finish on 21 September, which will officially bring down the curtain on the elongated season.
