Villarreal FC v Levante UD

Villarreal have lost three of their last eight LaLiga games against Levante (W4 D1), as many defeats as in their previous 14 matches against them in the competition (W10 D1 L3).

Villarreal have avoided defeat in their last six home LaLiga games against Levante (W5 D1), after losing their previous two against them at home, both in 2011.

Villarreal are unbeaten in their last eight home LaLiga games against sides from Comunidad Valenciana (W5 D3) and Levante have failed to win in their last 17 away from home against these sides (D5 L12), since a win 3-0 vs Villarreal in October 2011.

Villarreal have avoided defeat in their last nine LaLiga games at La Cerámica (W5 D4), but they have drawn their last three. They last drew four games in a row at home in the Top-flight between September-October 2003 (4).

Levante are winless in their last six away LaLiga games (D3 L3) and the last time they failed to win seven consecutive away matches was in November 2018-February 2019 (GP7 D3 L4).

Levante have been trailing for a league-low 27 minutes away from home this season.

Villarreal’s Gerard Moreno has been involved in three goals in his last two LaLiga appearances against Levante (two goals and one assist), including one goal and one assist in his last match against them at La Cerámica, a 2-1 win for Villarreal in February 2020.

Levante’s Roger Martí has scored four braces in LaLiga, one against Villlarreal in August 2019, the only game he has scored two penalty goals in the competition.

Villarreal’s Paco Alcácer has scored four goals at home in LaLiga 2020/21, his best tally in a single LaLiga season since the 2016/17 (five as Barcelona player).

Villarreal’s Unai Emery has alternated between a draw and with a win/loss in his last 10 LaLiga managerial games against Levante (W3 D5 L2) - he won the last one against them, 3-1 for Sevilla in January 2016.

Real Betis have lost their last three LaLiga games vs Sevilla and they last lost four or more in a row against them in the competition between 1988 and 1991 (5).

At home, Real Betis have only won one of their last 11 LaLiga games against Sevilla (D6 L4), 1-0 in September 2018 and Joaquín scored the winning goal.

Real Betis have only won one of their last seven LaLiga games against Andalusian sides (D1 L5), the last one vs Cádiz (1-0). Indeed, Sevilla have only lost one of their last seven games against such sides (W6), the last one vs Granada (0-1).

Real Betis have lost three of their last six home LaLiga games (W2 D1) but they could avoid defeat in three or more in a row at home in the competition (W1 D1) for the first time since last June (GP4 – W2 D2).

Sevilla have won their last three away LaLiga games, all of them by the same score (1-0), and they have never won four or more in a row away from home in the same season in the Top-flight.

Real Betis have scored their last three goals in LaLiga at Benito Villamarín in the second half, after scoring their previous six at home this season in the first half.

Real Betis’s Loren Morón has scored in two of his last three LaLiga appearances against Sevilla at Benito Villamarín, one goal in May 2018 and another in November 2019.

Sevilla’s Ivan Rakitic has been involved in six goals away from home against Real Betis (four goals and two assists), more than vs any other opponent as a visitor in the competition.

Only against Eibar (5) has Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri scored more LaLiga goals than vs Real Betis (4), including his only hat-trick in the competition, in February 2019 as a Leganés player.

Real Betis’s Manuel Pellegrini has only lost one of his last six managerial LaLiga games against Sevilla (W3 D2), 1-2 away from home as Málaga boss in August 2011, after losing his previous four against them in the competition.

Getafe CF v Real Valladolid CF

Getafe are unbeaten in their last five LaLiga games against Real Valladolid (W1 D4), their longest run without a defeat against them in the Top-flight.

After losing their first LaLiga game at Coliseum against Real Valladolid, 0-3 in January 2008, Getafe have avoided defeat in their last six at home against them in the competition (W4 D2), keeping a clean sheet in five of these games.

Real Valladolid have lost their last three away LaLiga games against Madrilean sides, failing to score in all them, and they last lost four such away games in a row in the competition in 1991 (5).

Getafe have failed to win in their last five home LaLiga games (D2 L3), their longest winless run at Coliseum in the competition under José Bordalás.

Real Valladolid have only collected 15 points after their first 16 LaLiga 2020/21 games, their joint-lowest tally at this stage of the season in the Top-flight in the 21st Century (also 15 in 2013/14).

Real Valladolid have failed to win their first LaLiga game in a calendar year in their last six seasons in the competition (D2 L4), since a win 3-0 vs Getafe at Coliseum in 2008.

Getafe are winless in their four LaLiga 2020/21 games when they have conceded the first goal of the game, losing three of them (D1).

Juan Camilo Hernández has assisted three of Getafe’s last six goals at home in LaLiga and he has recorded his joint-best assist tally in a single season in the Top-flight (three, alongside 2018/19 as Huesca player).

Real Valladolid have scored four of their six away LaLiga goals this season from set pieces: one penalty goal, two from corners and one from a free-kick.

Getafe’s José Bordalás is unbeaten in his last six managerial games against Real Valladolid in all competitions (W2 D4), four in LaLiga and two in Copa del Rey, since a defeat 0-1 with his current club in Liga Smartbank in May 2017.

Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last 12 LaLiga games against Celta de Vigo (W10 D2), since a 0-2 defeat at Balaídos in May 2014 - the last time they failed to score against them in the competition.

Real Madrid have scored in each of their last 28 home LaLiga games against Celta de Vigo (74 goals in total, 2.6 per game), their current longest scoring run at home against a single team in the competition.

After the 2-2 draw at Santiago Bernabéu in February 2020, Celta de Vigo could draw two away LaLiga games against Real Madrid in a row for the second time ever – also doing so in October 2001 and May 2003, both 1-1.

Real Madrid have only lost their first LaLiga game in a calendar year in one of their last 13 seasons in the competition (W8 D4) and that defeat was away from home (1-2 vs Valencia at Mestalla in January 2015).

Real Madrid have won 12 of their last 14 home LaLiga games (L2), 13 of them played at Alfredo Di Stéfano (W11 D0 L2). The Whites have won a joint-league-high 14 home games in the competition in 2020 (alongside Atlético de Madrid).

Celta de Vigo have only won one of their last 11 away LaLiga games (D6 L4) but this win was under Eduardo Coudet – 2-0 vs Athletic at San Mamés on MD12.

Real Madrid, Toni Kroos, has scored six goals in 11 LaLiga appearances against Celta de Vigo, at least double than vs any other opponent in his carreer in LaLiga and Bundesliga (three goals vs Hertha BSC).

Iago Aspas has been involved in five of Celta de Vigo’s eight goals away from home in LaLiga this season (four goals and one assist).

Casemiro has scored in each of his last three home LaLiga games (three goals on aggregate), and he is the only Real Madrid player to score in three games in a row in the competition at Alfredo Di Stéfano.

Eduardo Couded managed his first LaLiga game against Real Madrid. None of the last six Celta de Vigo managers won their first game in the competition vs them (D2 L4), since Carmelo Cedrún in November 1976 (2-0).

Athletic Club v Elche CF

Athletic Club have only lost one of their last five LaLiga games against Elche (W2 D2), though that did come at San Mamés (1-2 in January 2015), their only defeat against them at home in the competition (W14 D6 L1).

Elche have collected points in each of their last two away LaLiga games against Athletic (W1 D1). They have played two games at Nuevo San Mamés avoiding defeat, more than any other side in the competition (alongside Osasuna – P2 W1 D1).

Athletic have avoided defeat in each of their first calendar year LaLiga game since 2015 (W2 D3) - 0-1 vs Deportivo de la Coruña at Riazor.

Elche have only won one of their last seven first calendar year games in LaLiga (D3 L3), a win 2-0 vs Hércules in January 1985.

Athetic are unbeaten in their last eight LaLiga games against sides from Comunidad Valenciana (W5 D3) since their defeat vs Valencia at San Mamés in September 2019 (0-1).

Elche have won their last four away LaLiga games against Basque sides, keeping a clean sheet in their last three, after failing to win in their previous 36 (D8 L28).

Elche have failed to win any of their last four away LaLiga games (D2 L2), after winning the previous two whilst keeping a clean sheet in both.

Athletic Club’s Iñaki Williams has scored in each of his two appearances vs Elche in all competitions (one goal in LaLiga and another in one in Copa del Rey). Only against Real Valladolid has he scored in three games in a row in all competitions as an Athletic player.

Tete Morente has been involved in four of Elche’s last five goals away from home in LaLiga (two goals and two assists).

Athletic Club’s Gaizka Garitano has managed three games against Elche in all competition (W1 D1 L1), with the only one as Athletic boss ending level (1-1 in Copa del Rey the last season).

Deportivo Alavés v Atlético de Madrid

Alavés have failed to win in their last 10 LaLiga games against Atlético de Madrid (D4 L6), their longest current winless run against an opponent in the Top-flight.

At home, Alavés are winless in their last five LaLiga games against Atlético de Madrid (D2 L3), failing to score in four of them. Indeed, they had won their previous three at Mendizorrotza against them in the competition beforehand.

Atlético de Madrid have only won one of their last five away LaLiga games against Basque sides (D2 L2) - most recently against Real Sociedad (2-0) - after winning four of their previous five such games (L1).

Atlético de Madrid are unbeaten in their first LaLiga game of a calendar year in the last 11 years (W7 D4) since a defeat 1-3 defeat in January 2009 vs Valencia under Javier Aguirre.

Alavés have lost only one of their last seven home LaLiga games (W2 D4), 0-2 vs Elche in October, after losing four of their previous five at Mendizorrotza in the competition (D1).

Atlético de Madrid have won four of their last five away LaLiga games (L1), as many wins as in their previous 17 games away from home in the competition (W4 D11 L2).

Atlético de Madrid have won each of their four away games when they have scored the first goal in LaLiga this season, whilst Alavés have only won one of the three games when they opened the scoring at home (D2).

Atlético de Madrid’s Lui Suárez has been involved in 12 goals in seven LaLiga games against Alavés (six goals and six assists), scoring at least one goal in each of his last three against them in the competition.

Lucas Pérez scored Alavés’ winning goal vs Atlético de Madrid the last time these sides met at Mendizorrotza in LaLiga, though he has never scored in two appearances in a row against them in the competition.

Alavés’s Pablo Machín is winless in his four managerial LaLiga games against Atlético de Madrid, though he has drawn three of them (L1), with his team both scoring and conceding in each of those games.

SD Eibar v Granada CF

Eibar have played eight LaLiga games against Granada and avoided defeat in all them (W6 D2), more matches without losing than against any other opponent in the competition (alongside vs Leganés, GP8 W5 D3).

At home, Eibar have won three of their four LaLiga games against Granada (D1), winning each of the last three. Indeed, they have netted 13 goals across those four games and conceded only two.

Granada are the only LaLiga side that have conceded four or more goals in two different games against Eibar in the competition at Ipurua: 1-5 in January 2016 and 0-4 in February 2017.

Granada have only won two of their last 12 away LaLiga games against Basque sides (D1 L9), vs Alavés and Real Sociedad, both in July 2020.

Eibar have failed to win any of their last eight home LaLiga games (D4 L4), failing to score in five of them, their longest winless run at Ipurua in the top-flight.

Granada have lost three of their last four away LaLiga games (W1), after losing only one of their previous 10 in the competition (W5 D4 L1).

Eibar are the only LaLiga side to have failed to take the lead at any moment at home so far this season.

Eibar’s Sergi Enrich has scored five goals against Granada in LaLiga, more than vs any other opponent, netting at least one goal in each of his last four appearances against them in the competition.

Luis Suárez has scored two of Granada’s last three goals from open play away from home in LaLiga this season, netting versus Celta de Vigo and Elche.

Eibar’s José Luis Mendilibar has won his last seven LaLiga managerial games against Granada, one for Levante and six for his current club, after losing his three previous against them as Osasuna boss.

Real Sociedad v CA Osasuna

Real Sociedad are unbeaten in their last eight LaLiga games against Osasuna (W4 D4) since a 0-1 defeat away from home in May 2012, their longest unbeaten run vs the Navarre side in the competition since 1984 (12 - W9 D3).

At home, Real Sociedad are unbeaten in their last seven LaLiga games against Osasuna (W4 D3) since a defeat 1-2 in November 2005 - this run includes their biggest win against them in the competition, 5-0 in November 2013.

Osasuna have avoided defeat in their last six away LaLiga games against Basque sides (W4 D2), keeping a clean sheet in five of them, since a defeat 2-3 vs Real Sociedad in February 2017.

Real Sociedad are winless in their last three home LaLiga games (D2 L1) after winning their previous three - they last failed to win four or more consecutive home games in a LaLiga season in November 2018 (5 – D3 L2).

Osasuna have failed to win in their last six away LaLiga games (D2 L4), failing to score in four of those matches, after winning four of their previous five away from home in the competition (L1).

Real Sociedad have scored their last four LaLiga goals at home from set pieces - two penalty goals and two from corners.

Osasuna have lost the four LaLiga away games when they have conceded the first goal this season, but are unbeaten when they have scored the first goal away from home (W1 D1).

Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzábal has been directly involved in a goal in each of his four LaLiga appearances against Osasuna (two goals and two assists in total).

Rubén García has been directly involved in Osasuna’s last two goals away from home in LaLiga, one goal and one assist vs Elche - he was the first Osasuna player to both score and assist in an away game in the competition since Roberto Torres vs Sevilla the last March.

Jagoba Arrasate has only won 26.9% of his away games in LaLiga for Osasuna (7/26), however this is a higher win percentage than he managed in 24 away games while in charge of Real Sociedad in the competition (20.8% - 5/24).

SD Huesca v FC Barcelona

Huesca have failed to win their last two LaLiga games against Barcelona (D1 L1), while they suffered their heaviest ever defeat in the competition against them in September 2018 - 2-8 at Camp Nou.

In all competitions, Barcelona are unbeaten in their last four games against Huesca (W3 D1), two in LaLiga and two in Copa del Rey, scoring 20 goals and conceding only three.

Barcelona have avoided defeat in their first LaLiga game in a calendar year in their last five seasons (W2 D3), since losing 0-1 away from home vs Real Sociedad in January 2015.

Huesca have only won one of their seven LaLiga games at El Alcora this season (1-0 vs Alavés in MD13), but four of them have finished in a draw (L2).

After a run four away games without a win in LaLiga (D1 L3), Barcelona won their last away match (3-0 vs Real Valladolid) and are looking to win two in a row the first time under Ronald Koeman.

Barcelona have lost their last two LaLiga games against newly-promoted sides (vs Osasuna in July and Cádiz in December) as many defeats as in their previous 22 games against such sides in the competition (W17 D3 L2). They have never lost three in a row against newly promoted sides in the top-flight.

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi was directly involved in four goals in his only previous LaLiga game against Huesca, scoring two goals and making two assists in September 2018.

Excluding own goals, Barcelona’s last six goals away from home in LaLiga have been scored by different players: Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Antoine Griezmann, Clement Lenglet, Martin Braithwaite and Lionel Messi.

Javier Ontiveros has scored in each of his last two home LaLiga appearances (two goals) and could become the second Huesca player to score in three in a row at El Alcoraz in the top-flight, after Chimy Ávila (three in March-April 2019).

Huesca’s Míchel Sánchez has lost his two managerial LaLiga games against Barcelona, both as Rayo Vallecano boss. As a player, he lost each in of his last four appearances against them in the competition (two for Rayo and two for Real Murcia).

Valencia CF v Cádiz CF

Valencia have won their last five LaLiga games against Cádiz, keeping a clean sheet in four of them, and scoring four or more goals in three of those five matches.

Valencia have won their last five home LaLiga games against Cádiz, their longest winning run against them at home in the top-flight – their only defeat against them on home soil in the top-flight was in November 1988 (1-2).

Valencia have lost their last two home LaLiga games against Andalusian sides, vs Real Betis and Sevilla both this season - they have never lost three in a row at home to Andalusian opposition in the top-flight.

Valencia have only won one on their last seven home LaLiga games (D3 L3), failing to win in their last three (D1 L2) - they were last winless in four consecutive home games in the competition in November 2018 (6 - D5 L1).

After winning their first four away LaLiga games this season - keeping a clean sheet in all them - Cádiz are winless in their last four away from home (D1 L3), failing to score in three of them (10 goals conceded in total).

Valencia have avoided defeat in their last seven LaLiga games at Mestalla against newly-promoted sides (W5 D2), since a 1-2 defeat vs Getafe in April 2018.

Cádiz have the lowest possession average in the Top 5 European Leagues this season (33.5%), which is also the lowest for a LaLiga team in a single season since Levante in 2012/13 (35.5%).

Cádiz’s Álvaro Negredo has scored 11 goals in 12 LaLiga appearances against Valencia, more than against any other opponent. He has only scored four goals in a game in LaLiga on one previous occasion, doing so against Valencia in June 2013, while playing for Sevilla.

Excluding own goals, Carlos Soler has scored five of Valencia’s last six goals at Mestalla in LaLiga, all them penalty goals. He is the first Valencia player to score five or more penalty goals at home in a single season in the competition since David Villa in 2008/09 (7).

Excluding own goals, Álvaro Negredo has been involved in 60% of Cádiz’s goals in LaLiga this season (6/10 - three goals and three assists).
