El Clasico dazzles fans in Pretoria

LaLiga Santander, the top Spanish league and the best league in Europe, hosted a public viewing of the all-important El Clásico clash between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid for South African football fans, this past Saturday.

The most-watched club football match in the world returned to screens this past weekend and featured a strong Real Madrid, that edged past FC Barcelona 2-1, at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium for the first time.

On the day, LaLiga lined up an unprecedented digital and broadcasting experience at Eastwoods, Pretoria for a global event in Mzansi. Fans at the venue were able to immerse themselves in the match in the comfort of friends and family, while enjoying a refreshing Budweiser.

With the top 3 teams now a single point behind one another, and if this game was anything to go by, LaLiga Santander should have more excitement in store for the rest of the season.
