Levante v Getafe CF

Getafe have won two of their last four games against Levante in LaLiga (L2), including the most recent one (2-1 in May 2021). They have never won back-to-back games against them in the competition.

Levante have lost just one of their 13 LaLiga home games against Getafe (W5 D7), 1-2 in January 2012 - their lowest loss percentage (7.7%) at home against a single opponent in the top-flight (min. of seven home games).

Getafe have won one of their last 10 away games in Comunidad Valenciana in LaLiga (D4 L5), 3-1 against Elche in January 2021, losing the last two without scoring.

Levante have failed to win any of their first eight games in a LaLiga season (D4 L4) for the second time, previously doing so in 2007-08, a season which ended in relegation (20th at the end of the season).

Getafe have failed to win any of their last nine LaLiga games (D2 L7), their worst run since 2016 (GP13 D2 L11). Their last win in the competition came in May 2021 against Levante (2-1).

Among all ever-present LaLiga clubs in 2021, Getafe are the team with the fewest goals in the competition (19) and the fewest wins (five, as many as Levante).

José Luis Morales has failed to score his last three penalty attempts for Levante in LaLiga, after scoring six of his previous seven in the competition.

Sandro Ramírez have scored two goals in his last four games for Getafe in LaLiga, as many as in his previous 13 games in the competition (2).

Getafe’s Enes Ünal is the player with the highest xG (1.63) without scoring in LaLiga this season.

Getafe manager, Quique Sánchez Flores, has failed to win in his four LaLiga away games against Levante (D2 L2) each with a different team (Getafe, Valencia, Atlético de Madrid and Espanyol). This is his third spell in charge of Getafe, losing his first league game in the previous two (1-3 vs Zaragoza in August 2004 and 1-2 vs Eibar in January 2015).

Real Sociedad have won their last three games against Mallorca in LaLiga without conceding a single goal – they have never won four consecutive games against them in the competition.

Real Sociedad have won their last seven LaLiga home games against Mallorca, keeping a clean sheet in their last four, their joint-best ongoing winning run at home against a current top-flight side in the competition (also 7 against Elche).

Mallorca have won two of their last four away games against Basque teams in LaLiga (L2) after losing all their previous eight away games against them in the competition.

Real Sociedad are unbeaten in their last seven LaLiga home games (W6 D1) keeping a clean sheet in their last four. It’s their best unbeaten run at home since a run of seven in 2016 (W5 D2) and their longest run without conceding a single goal at Reale Arena in the competition since the 1998-99 season (4).

Following their victory against Levante (1-0), Mallorca ended a four-game winless run in LaLiga (D1 L3) - they could become the first newly promoted team to win at Reale Arena in the top flight since Granada (3-2 in July 2020).

Real Sociedad have won 10 points through goals scored in the second half of their games in LaLiga this season, more than any other team in the competition.

Mallorca’s last three LaLiga goals have come via corner situations (Dani Rodríguez and Fernando Niño vs Osasuna & Ángel Rodríguez vs Levante) – no other team have scored more such goals in the competition this campaign (also three for Athletic Club and Real Madrid).

With his goal against Levante, Mallorca’s Ángel Rodríguez ended his joint worst goalless run in LaLiga (19 games, as many as between 2009 and 2012) – he last scored in consecutive appearances in the competition in December 2019 (3).

Mikel Oyarzábal is the player who’s goals have earnt the most points for his team in LaLiga this season (seven for Real Sociedad with six goals scored). He is the second top scorer in the competition this term after Karim Benzema (9).

Mallorca manager, Luis García Plaza, has lost just one of his eight games against Real Sociedad in LaLiga (W3 D4), that defeat did come in his most recent away game against them in the competition: 2-0 for Getafe in August 2013.Rayo Vallecano v Elche CF

Rayo Vallecano have lost five of their six LaLiga games against Elche (W1), their highest loss ratio (83,3%) against a single opponent in the top-flight (min. of five games).

After six defeats in a row against Elche at home between 1991 & 2011, all of them in the Spanish Segunda División and five by a 1-2 scoreline, Rayo Vallecano have lost just two of their last five such games against them (W2 D1).

Elche have won just one of their last eight away games against Madrilenian teams in LaLiga (D2 L5), however that victory did come in their most recent such game, 1-0 against Getafe last September – they have never won back-to-back away matches against such opposition in the top-flight.

Rayo Vallecano have won their last three home LaLiga games, last winning four on the bounce in the competition in March 2015 under Paco Jémez.

Elche have gone eight away LaLiga games without a draw (W2 L6), their longest such run in the 21st century.

Fidel has provided two assists in seven games for Elche in LaLiga 21-22, one less than in the previous whole season in the competition (3 in 30 games).

Elche’s Lucas Pérez has scored in two of his three games against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga (one in each of his last two), both for Deportivo de La Coruña in the 2015-16 season.

Sergi Guardiola has been involved in three goals in his five games for Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga (one goal and two assists), as many as in his previous 29 games in the competition (one goal and two assists).

Rayo’s Alejandro Catena is the outfield player with the most long passes attempted in LaLiga this season (91, 44 successful).

Elche manager Fran Escribá has lost two of his three away games against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga. His only win against them came in September 2014 with his current side (3-2).

Celta de Vigo have lost their last two games against Sevilla in LaLiga, conceding four goals in each game and could equal their longest run of defeats against them in the 21st century (3 in both 2007 and 2017).

After three consecutive away defeats against Celta de Vigo in LaLiga between 2018 and 2020, Sevilla won their most recent such game in the competition: 4-3 in April 2021, with Iago Aspas scoring his 20th brace in the top-flight.

Celta de Vigo have earnt seven points after eight games in LaLiga 21-22 (W2 D1 L5), their second lowest tally at this stage across the last eight seasons in the competition (six points in 20/21, W1 D3 L4).

Following their defeat to Granada, Sevilla’s seven game unbeaten run in LaLiga came to an end (W5 D2). Only in February/March have they lost back-to-back league matches in 2021.

Celta de Vigo are the team with the fewest minutes leading in LaLiga this season (59) and the only side that a yet to lead in a home game this campaign.

Only Barcelona (68.8%) have a better possession figure than Sevilla in LaLiga 21-22 (63.6%), their highest in a single campaign of the competition since 2005-06 (when Opta started recording such data for the Spanish top-flight).

Sevilla have built up 30 attacks with 10 or more passes in LaLiga this season - only Real Madrid have had more such sequences (36), however the Andalusian side have failed to score from any of them (six goals for Real Madrid have come following a sequence of 10+ passes).

Celta de Vigo’s Iago Aspas have scored nine goals in 13 games against Sevilla in LaLiga, his joint favorite opponent in the competition alongside Real Sociedad (9 goals in 15 games).

Santi Mina has been involved in five of Celta’s last six goals in LaLiga (two goals & three assists), assisting their last three goals in the competition.

Sevilla’s Jules Kounde has only scored more than one goal against Celta de Viga in LaLiga (2), scoring one goal in each of his two games against them in the top-flight.

Villarreal CF v CA Osasuna

Villarreal have won six of their last eight games against Osasuna in LaLiga (L2), after winning just one in their previous 10 against them in the competition (D5 L4).

Villarreal have lost just three of their 16 LaLiga games at home against Osasuna (W9 D4), although one of those came in the most recent one at La Cerámica (1-2 in April). They have never previously lost consecutive games at home to Osasuna in the top-flight.

Osasuna are unbeaten in their last four away games against teams in the Valencian Community in LaLiga (W2 D2), winning the last two. They could win three consecutive away games in this region for the first time ever in the competition.

For the third time ever in LaLiga, Villarreal are unbeaten in their first seven LaLiga games in a single season (W2 D5), after 2008-09 (W5 D2) and 2016-17 (W3 D4) – they didn’t lose the eighth game in both previous campaigns.

Osasuna have earned 14 points after eight games in LaLiga 2021-22 (W4 D2 L2), equalling their second best return at this stage in a single season in the top-flight in the 21st century (14 points in 2003-04), after 15 points in 2005-06.

Villarreal are the only LaLiga team who haven’t trailed for a single minute in the competition this season.

Villarreal’s Paco Alcácer has scored three goals in his last three games against Osasuna in LaLiga, including a brace for Barcelona in April 2017.

Osasuna’s Kike García has scored four goals against Villarreal in LaLiga, his joint-highest tally against a single opponent in the competition (also four against Athletic Club and Leganés).

Arnaut Danjuma has scored in three of his six games in LaLiga for Villarreal this season (3 goals on aggregate), scoring in each game when Villarreal have found the net as a team.

Villarreal manager Unai Emery has just lost one of his seven LaLiga home games against Osasuna (W5 D1), although this was in his most recent one against them for his current team – 1-2 in April 2021.

FC Barcelona v Valencia CF

Barcelona have just lost one of their last 10 LaLiga games against Valencia (W5 D4), 0-2 in January 2020 under Quique Setién and with Albert Celades as Valencia’s manager.

Barcelona have scored at least one goal in each of their previous 17 home games against Valencia in LaLiga (45 goals), their second longest run scoring at home against them (after 31 between 1939 & 1970). They are unbeaten in their last five games at Camp Nou against Valencia (W3 D2), since a 1-2 loss in April 2016.

Valencia are the away team with the most goals at Camp Nou in LaLiga since 2013/14, netting 14 goals in eight games and scoring at least twice in six of those.

After going seven games unbeaten in LaLiga between May and September (W4 D3), Barcelona lost their last game in the competition (0-2 against Atlético de Madrid). The last time they suffered two consecutive defeats in LaLiga was in October 2020.

After earning 10 points out of the first 12 available in LaLiga this season (W3 D1), Valencia have earned just two from the last 12 available in the competition (D2 L2).

Barcelona’s shot conversion rate in LaLiga so far this season is 13.6%, their lowest percentage in a single campaign in the top-flight since 2007-08 (13.5%).

Valencia have conceded three goals from outside the box in LaLiga this season (joint-most, along with Mallorca). They also conceded the most goals of this type in the competition last term (12).

Among LaLiga players with at least 300 passes attempted, Barcelona’s Eric García is the individual with the highest pass completion rate (94.3%).

Valencia’s Maxi Gómez has scored six goals in eight games against Barcelona in LaLiga, his joint-highest tally against a single opponent in the competition (also six vs Real Sociedad). The Uruguayan player has scored in four of his last five league games against them (five goals in total).

Valencia’s manager José Bordalás has just won one of his eight LaLiga games against Barcelona (D1 L6), 1-0 in October 2020. No opponent have scored more goals against José Bordalás’ teams than Barcelona (15, level with Real Madrid).

Deportivo Alavés v Real Betis Balompié

After three consecutive wins against Real Betis in LaLiga between 2006 and 2017, Alavés have won just one of their last eight games against them in the competition (D3 L4) - 2-1 in July 2020.

Alavés are currently on their longest winless run at home to Real Betis in LaLiga (D2 L2), since a 1-0 win in December 2016 thanks to a goal scored by Deyverson.

Real Betis have won just once in their last 13 away games against Basque teams in LaLiga (D5 L7), with this being a 1-0 victory against Alavés in September 2020, in what was Manuel Pellegrini’s first league game in charge of the club.

Alavés have lost three of their last four games at Mendizorrotza in LaLiga (W1), but they won the most recent against Atlético de Madrid (1-0). Since the start of the 2020/21 season, their only consecutive home wins in the competition came in their first two under Javier Calleja (in April).

Real Betis suffered their second defeat in LaLiga this season against Villarreal last time out (W3 D3 L2), while they last had consecutive defeats in November 2020 (3). They have conceded just nine goals in this league season, their second lowest tally at this stage in the top-flight in the last decade (six goals in 2018-19).

Only Getafe (333) have trailed for more minutes than Alavés (289) in LaLiga this season, while they’ve opened the scoring fewer times than any other side (1).

Alavés are the team with the fewest goals in LaLiga this season (2), and both were scored from set-piece situations (one from the penalty spot and the other one after a corner).

Alavés’ Joselu has scored in two of his last three games against Real Betis in LaLiga (2 goals on aggregate), but both were at the Benito Villamarín.

Willian José has scored Real Betis’ last three goals in LaLiga and he could become the first player to score four consecutive goals in the competition for the club since Rubén Castro in September 2016.

Among current LaLiga teams, only against Cádiz (P5 W2 D3) has Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini taken charge of more games without losing in LaLiga than against Alavés (P4 W3 D1).

RCD Espanyol v Cádiz CF

Espanyol have lost their last four games against Cádiz in LaLiga, failing to score in the last three. They had lost just two of their previous 18 games against them in the competition (W8 D8 L2).

At home, Espanyol have lost two consecutive games against Cádiz in LaLiga for the first time ever, 1-2 in September 1992 and 0-2 in October 2005. Their last local win against them in the competition was in March 1992 (3-1).

Espanyol have won two of their last three LaLiga games (L1) after failing to win any of their previous 15 in the competition (D5 L10). They’ve won their last two at home, last winning more consecutively in November 2018 (6).

Cádiz have just won one of their last 11 LaLiga games (D5 L5), but that win was on the road, 2-1 against Celta de Vigo in September 2021.

Cádiz have earned seven points from their first eight games in LaLiga this season (W1 D4 L3), their lowest tally at this stage in a single season in the 21st century.

Cádiz are, alongside Rayo Vallecano, the team to concede the most penalty goals in LaLiga this season (3). Cádiz have conceded a goal from each of their last seven penalties faced in the top-flight.

Cádiz have the lowest average possession in LaLiga this season (30.3%), and have had fewer shots than any other side (56). However, they’ve scored one goal more than Espanyol so far this term.

After failing to score in his first five games against Espanyol in LaLiga, Cádiz’s Álvaro Negredo has scored seven goals in his last seven appearances against Espanyol in the competition.

Raúl de Tomás has been involved in four of Espanyol’s six goals in LaLiga this season, as many as in his previous 14 games in his previous campaign in the top-flight (4 in 2019-20).

Espanyol manager Vicente Moreno is unbeaten in his three games against Cádiz in all competitions, all of them in the Spanish Segunda División and with Álvaro Cervera on the other side (W2 D1), one for Nástic de Tarragona and two for Mallorca.
