The record is 43 league games unbeaten and it’s held by FC Barcelona, their next opponent.

This Saturday’s match between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona is interesting for so many reasons and one of them is the fact that Los Blancos could match the LALIGA EA SPORTS record for going unbeaten in this weekend’s ELCLASICO.

That record is currently held by Barça. their next opponents. Los Azulgranas set the record across 2017 and 2018, eventually losing to Levante UD in the penultimate round of a LALIGA EA SPORTS season in which they almost went completely invincible.

As for this current Real Madrid side, they haven’t lost a league game since September 24th 2023, more than a year ago. They’ve since played 42 league games, with 31 wins and 11 draws. Their last loss came at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, when they fell to a 3-1 defeat against Atlético de Madrid. Since then, they’ve been very solid and unbeatable for all of their opponents.

Real Madrid haven’t lost at the Bernabéu in more than a year

Not only do Real Madrid have an impressive unbeaten run in the league, but they also have a great home unbeaten run in all competitions. Their stadium has become a fortress and they haven’t lost there since April 8th 2023, when Quique Setién’s Villarreal CF won 3-2 to extinguish Real Madrid’s title hopes that season.

Since then, they’ve played 39 matches at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, 29 of them in LALIGA EA SPORTS, with 25 wins and four draws. There is no doubt that it’ll be a challenge for Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona to end these two great unbeaten streaks. But, if they want to extend their lead at the top of LALIGA EA SPORTS this weekend, that’s what they’ll have to do. Meanwhile, Los Blancos will give their all to match the league’s unbeaten record and to pull level on points with their rivals.
