The Egyptian and Liverpool magician Salah scored the fastest hat-trick in the competition's history as Liverpool hammered Rangers 7-1.
Salah came off the bench and wasted no time in scoring a seven-minute treble, breaking Bafetimbi Gomis' eight-minute record from Lyon’s 7-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb in 2011.
Salah is Africa’s top goalscorer in the Champions League so far, tied at the top on five goals with Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski after four rounds of group matches.

Mohammed Kudus is the second-highest scoring African so far in this UCL season with three goals, which is one goal ahead of Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Cameroon international André-Frank Zambo Anguissa leads the assists table by Africans with three for Napoli, which is just one behind the tied leading Portuguese pair of João Cancelo for Manchester City and Diogo Jota for Liverpool.
Ghanaian talisman Kamal Sowah has been a revelation in the 2022-23 UCL season for Belgian club Club Brugge, helping them to the top of group B ahead of traditional favourites FC Porto, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid.
Former Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba still holds the record as the African with the most goals in the Uefa Champions League. He scored 44 goals in 92 appearances for the three clubs that he represented in the competition.
