AmaZulu FC will be looking to redeem themselves when they host TS Galaxy in Friday's Betway Premiership match at the King Zwelithini Stadium.

Kick-off is at 7:30 pm CAT.

CURRENT FORM

Usuthu are winless in their last two matches, having succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to champions Mamelodi Sundowns away on Tuesday and before the game, they had drawn with SuperSport.

AmaZulu are placed seventh in the Betway Premiership standings - two points behind fourth-placed Stellenbosch FC and a win over Galaxy would boost the KwaZulu-Natal giants' top four ambitions.

Meanwhile, Galaxy are enjoying a three-match unbeaten run, having claimed a 3-1 win over SuperSport at home on Tuesday and prior to that, they registered a draw, and a victory.

The Rockets are placed fifth in the Betway Premiership standings - two points behind third-placed Sekhukhune United and a win over AmaZulu would elevate the Mpumalanga side into the top three if other results go their way.

TEAM NEWS

AmaZulu have no suspension concerns coming into this game, but Augustine Mulenga is yet to feature for the team since September due to fitness issues.

TS Galaxy, on the other hand, will welcome back Victor Letsoalo from Bafana Bafana duty, having also completed his two-match suspension due to a red card he picked up in a game against Mamelodi Sundowns.

WHAT WAS SAID?

AmaZulu FC head coach Arthur Zwane

"I still believe it could have been better [against Mamelodi Sundowns]; we had about four chances. We couldn't find the target at all," Zwane said.

"Defensively, we are doing well, but we conceded two goals we shouldn’t have. We had numbers inside the box. As much as we are a work in progress, we should learn and learn fast.

"Had we taken some of those chances, it could have been a completely different story. We need to get it right. My worry is that we didn't even score a goal today."

TS Galaxy midfielder Siphesihle Maduna

"I am very happy. It was wasn't an easy game, we just had to work hard and push ourselves," Maduna said after being named Man of the Match following the SuperSport United game.

"The coach is always pushing us to work hard and be united as a team... At some point, we allowed them to come at us, and they got one, then moved the ball around. But we dominated the ball and stopped them from coming back.

"I was able to believe in myself and tell myself that when I am in the pitch, no one is better than me. As a player, you need to believe in yourself."

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Rowan Human, AmaZulu: The 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who boasts of an eight-goal contribution in the league this season, having netted three goals and provided five assists, could be the player to propel Usuthu to a win over the Rockets.

Keagan Dolly, TS Galaxy: The experienced attacking midfielder has hit form, having found the back of the net in two of his last three matches and he will be keen to play an instrumental role in helping the Rockets collect the maximum points in Durban.
