Ghana will bring a home-based team full of uncapped players for their friendly against South Africa next week.

Ghana’s Black Stars are not competing at this month’s Africa Cup of Nations finals and therefore cannot call up any of their foreign-based players to compete in the match next Tuesday.

But the match is a Cup of Nations warm-up for Bafana Bafana before they head off to Morocco.

It will be hosted in Gauteng, although the venue has yet to be confirmed by South African football.

The Ghana side is also not going to be coached by Otto Addo, who will be taking them to the World Cup next year for a second successive tournament.

Instead, it is Kassim Mingle who will be in charge of a 20-man squad.
