South African midfielder Katlego ‘Tsiki’ Ntsabeleng has had his contract at FC Dallas extended through the 2026 Major League Soccer season with club options for 2027 and 2028.

He also obtain a US Green card last March, which means he is no longer considered a foreign player.

Dallas have appointed Eric Quill as coach for the new season, giving Ntsabeleng hope of more regular game time.

Dallas began their pre-season training in Portugal at the weekend with a 2-0 win over Georgia’s Dinamo Tbilisi. They next face Danish side Brøndby IF on Thursday at Estádio Algarve in Loulé, Portugal.

They begin their season away with a Texas derby at Houston Dynamo on February 22.
