Alfred Dunhill Links third round postponed due to bad weather
The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship third round was postponed on Saturday after Scotland was hit by torrential rain.
With no play possible in the DP World Tour event at St Andrews, the third round will now be held on Sunday instead.
"Saturday's play has been abandoned. Round three will begin at 9am local time on Sunday morning," a DP World Tour statement said.
The final round will take place on Monday for the top 60 pros and the top 20 teams, including amateurs who are able to stay on.
England's Matthew Fitzpatrick holds a one-shot lead after going 13-under par in the first two rounds.
Just days after helping Europe win the Ryder Cup against the United States, Fitzpatrick has shown no side-effects of the short turnaround.
He had fired an eight-under-par 64 at Kingsbarns in the second round before Saturday's inclement weather halted his progress.
