ZESCO United move clear at top of MTN Super League
Freddy Michael scored the only goal of the game as ZESCO United moved to the top of the MTN Super League with a 1-0 success at Green Eagles on Sunday.
ZESCO have a two point lead after 21 games this season, having opened up a slender gap at the top of the table as the only team in the top five to record a win.

Red Arrows and Kabwe Warriors had to settle for a draw as their clash finished 1-1 on Saturday.
Francis Banda gave Warriors the lead just before the hour-mark, but Angel Lubamba equalised for hosts Arrows 10 minutes later.
Power Dynamos missed the opportunity to close the gap on the leaders when they were held to a 0-0 draw at Forest Rangers.
Nkana FC’s title charge hit a speed bump when they lost 1-0 at home to NAPSA Stars for back-to-back defeats. They are now six points behind ZESCO as Simon Nkhata scored the winner for Stars four minutes from the end.
Zanaco moved out of the bottom four as they won 4-1 at home to Green Buffaloes. A goal from Lambert Araina and a Wilson Chisala brace helped give Zanaco the win, as Lucky Bwalya scored what proved to be a consolation for Buffaloes from the penalty spot.
Nkwazi claimed a 2-1 victory at home to Artletico Lusaka as they scored their goals through a Richard Ocran penalty and a header from Luka Mutoshi. Thomas Chisi netted for Atletico.
Bottom side Indeni recorded just a second win of the season as they defeated FC MUZA 1-0 at home. An own goal from Clifford Mukambi gave them the points, but they remain 13 from safety.
Mutondo Stars took a 1-0 lead over Nchanga Rangers via Richmond Adongo, but had to settle for a draw as Mike Mambepa equalised for their hosts.
