Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to make it back-to-back Betway Premiership wins when they face Golden Arrows in Sunday's clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Kick-off is at 3:30 pm CAT.

CURRENT FORM

Amakhosi bounced back to winning ways when they claimed a 2-1 win over Stellenbosch FC at home on 8 January and prior to the match, Cape Town City had ended the Soweto giants' two-match unbeaten run.

Chiefs are placed fifth in the Betway Premiership standings - two points behind fourth-placed Sekhukhune United. A win over Arrows would see the Soweto giants climb into the top four if Sekhukhune drop points against SuperSport United on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Arrows extended their winless run to three matches when they drew 0-0 with their KZN rivals AmaZulu FC away on 4 January having registered two successive draws and one defeat.

Abafana Bes'thende are in ninth place in the Betway Premiership standings, three points behind fifth-placed Chiefs. If the other results go their way, a victory over Chiefs would see the Lamontville side move up to the fifth spot.

TEAM NEWS

Both teams have no suspension concerns, but Chiefs will be without the injured trip of Gaston Sirino, Edson Castillo and Edmison Dove.

Arrows, on the other hand, will be without Lungelo Nguse who has sustained a season-ending injury and Thabani Zuke has been nursing a new injury.

WHAT WAS SAID?

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi

“We feel there are some other areas where we are behind where we should be after five months," Nabi told reporters.

"Everyone is working to fix what needs to be fixed and try to catch up on things we should have done better and we hope we're going to see the improvement and consistency soon.”

Golden Arrows co-coach Musa Bilankulu

"I don't know where the goals are but the good thing is that we're creating those chances," Bilankulu told reporters.

"And surely against Chiefs here [at Moses Mabhida] on Sunday, we will be threatening."

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Wandile Duba, Kaizer Chiefs: The 20-year-old forward grabbed a morale-boosting brace which inspired Amakhosi to a win over Stellenbosch FC and he will be determined to replicate the same form when he faces Arrows.

Ryan Moon, Golden Arrows: The former Chiefs striker has impressively scored three times in five league matches this season including three starts and he will be keen to haunt Amakhosi by propelling Abafana Bes'thende to a win.
