Charlotte FC beats Ajax, PSV to sign "Nigerian Arjen Robben"

Charlotte FC has acquired highly-rated Nigerian wonderkid Emmanuel Uchegbu, nicknamed the "Nigerian Arjen Robben."
He joins Charlotte FC from Slovakian club AS Trencin following impressive performances that caught the attention of several European scouts. Uchegbu drew interest from Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, and Gent, with the latter said to have been close to sealing a deal at some point, before Charlotte FC swooped to secure the player's signature in what appears to be a major transfer coup.
The MLS club successfully convinced the Nigerian U-20 talent that a move to Major League Soccer would offer significant playing opportunities and a platform to further develop his blossoming young football career.
AS Trencin, a Slovakian club renowned for developing young talent, signed the speedy winger just over a year ago from the renowned Nigerian football school, GBS Academy. Upon joining Trencin's U19 team, Uchegbu quickly demonstrated his exceptional abilities, officially leading the Liga 1 in dribbling success rate and shot attempts..
The promising winger has signed a four year contract with a one year option. He thanked his coaches and fans via Instagram, adding that he can't wait to begin team up with Charlotte FC.
Charlotte FC is led by head caoch Dean Smith, whose previous experience includes managing Aston Villa and Norwich City. The club also boasts seasoned players such as former Manchester United forward Wilfried Zaha.
