Recent rounds in Formula One deliver a few surprises with Lando Norris bagging his first win in Miami and Leclerc taking the top step in Monaco. Verstappen's wins in Imola and Canada helped him continue his charge to a fourth consecutive drivers crown but the upcoming races are huge in the title race.

Spain starts the rush of a packed schedule from now until the Summer break.

Catalunya hosts the Grand Prix on a circuit that the teams and drivers are familiar with from testing. It is a highly technical circuit with a heavy focus on downforce. This should make things interesting between Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren as all three teams have strengths that could give them the edge.

Next up is Austria. Red Bull do not want to lose at home. Charles Leclerc got the better of Max in 2022 but it was business as usual for the Dutchman in 2023. The fast-flowing circuit should favour Red Bull but McLaren started changing their fortunes in Austria last season and will fancy their chances of an upset.

Silverstone is the home of Formula One racing. Every driver wants victory in Britain. Verstappen was joined by the two McLarens on the podium last time out and the team from Woking will be looking to go one better in 2024. Lando has had his first taste of victory champagne and he will want to be the first Brit to win at Silverstone since Lewis in 2021.

Described as Monaco without the barriers, Hungary comes as the penultimate race before the Summer break, arguably the most technical track on the calendar. Based on this, Ferrari could be strong after Leclerc's first triumph at his home race back in May. McLaren were strong on the streets of the principality too. The bumpy nature of the track did not suit Max and Red Bull so could they hinder the Dutchman once again?

Finally, we end this five-race spell in Spa. Traditionally, F1 returns from the Summer break to the Ardennes. But in 2024, it is the last race before the drivers and teams go for a much-needed rest ahead of the final push. The Dutch fans will flock to Belgium in support of Verstappen and he should fancy his chances as he is unbeaten at Spa-Francorchamps since Hamilton's win there in 2020.
