Ex-F1 champion Villeneuve lined up for Le Mans return

Canada's 1997 Formula One world champion Jacques Villeneuve has the Le Mans 24 Hour race in his sights after being named on Wednesday as a driver for world endurance championship team Vanwall.
Villeneuve, 51, will compete in the elite Hypercar category, sharing driving duties with France's Tom Dillmann and Esteban Guerrieri of Argentina behind the wheel of the Austrian outfit's LMH Vandervell.
In addition to claiming the F1 crown at Williams following a controversial shunt involving Michael Schumacher in the season-ending European Grand Prix Villeneuve has also won the Indianapolis 500, and competed in two editions of Le Mans for Peugeot, finishing second in 2008.
