Power Dynamos have opened up a three point lead at the top of the MTN Super League after a 2-0 victory over Lumwana Radiants and several stumbles from the teams around them.

Dynamos and Nkana FC were the only teams in the top six to record victories in round 27 of the championship, with a shock loss for second-placed ZESCO United.

Dominic Chanda and Austin Muwowo scored goals in either half as Dynamos claimed the three points against Radiants.

Relegation-threatened Zanaco claimed a 2-1 victory over ZESCO to make it three wins in a row and climb out of the bottom five.

An own goal from Isaah Kazembe handed ZESCO the lead, but a first half brace from Frederick Mwimanzi settled the contest in the favour of Zanaco.

Nkana climbed into third, five points behind Dynamos, as they recorded a 2-1 away win at defending champions Red Arrows.

Jakob Ngulube put Nkana in front, but Angel Lubamba equalised for Arrows. However, the visitors would not be denied and Idris Mbombo scored the winner after 70 minutes.

FC MUZA claimed a 2-0 win over Kabwe Warriors, whose season continued to unravel. Andrew Phiri and Biston Banda got the goals.

Green Buffaloes were 1-0 winners over Mutondo Stars as Chilimba Moonga netted just past the hour-mark.

Simon Mulenga gave Green Eagles the lead at Mufulira Wanderers after just two minutes, but the home side turned the game on its head thanks to goals from Joseph Mumbi and Evans Chisenga.

The three other fixtures in the round all ended 0-0. Forest Rangers and NAPSA Stars could not be separated, and neither could bottom side Indeni and Nkwazi. Nchanga Rangers and Atletico Lusaka also ended scoreless.
