Can Milford extend their unbeaten run in the Motsepe Foundation Championship?

After six rounds in the 2024/25 Motsepe Foundation Championship, Milford are one of two sides that are yet to taste defeat this season as they gear up to face Orbit College on Saturday afternoon.

Prior to the recent international break, Milford recorded a 2-1 win against Highbury at the Princes Magogo Stadium on the 5th October. The victory saw the KwaZulu-Natal outfit maintain their place at the top of the table after accumulating 14 points from six matches played.

Now though, Milford will square off against Orbit College at the Olympia Park Stadium on Saturday. Orbit, who currently occupy 10th on the table, go into their next game on the back of a 1-0 win against the University of Pretoria last time out.

Elsewhere, Durban City will welcome Baroka to the Chatsworth Stadium on Friday afternoon, as they likewise aim to preserve their unbeaten record in the league.

Durban City, who previously operated under the name of Maritzburg United, jotted down a 0-0 draw with Pretoria Callies shortly before the October international break. Despite their unblemished record in the league, Durban City are 4th on the log, while Pretoria Callies hover above the relegation zone in 14th spot.

Then, Venda Football Academy, who have lost each of their last three league encounters, are scheduled to face Kruger United at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.

Venda are without a win after six league fixtures and recorded just one point so far this season. While Venda occupy 16th on the log, Kruger United will likewise aim to turn their fortunes around this weekend following their 0-0 draw with JDR Stars in Gameweek six.
