After cruising at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table, Milford suffered back-to-back defeats in their two league fixtures and will hope to return to the winning column this weekend with a trip to Black Leopards on Saturday.

Despite recent losses to Hungry Lions and Casric Stars respectively, Milford remained at the top of the pile with 23 points to their name after 12 matches played.

Now though, the KwaZulu-Natal outfit face a tricky test in the form of Black Leopards at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.

Lidoda Duvha are likewise looking to regain positive form following a three-match winless streak.

Also chasing a lofty place at the top of the table, second-placed Durban City will take on Leruma United at the Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Formerly known as Maritzburg United, Durban City currently trail Milford by just the single point heading into matchday 13 while Leruma United trail in 15th spot after recording five losses in their last six league games.

Then, as two of the most in-form teams in the MFC currently, JDR Stars will welcome Hungry Lions to the Soshanguve Giant Stadium this weekend.

Currently on a two-match winning streak, JDR Stars are one point adrift of first-place while Hungry Lions are in sixth position after recording three wins on the spin.
