For 31 days straight, viewers will experience at least one live football match every day on SuperSport.

SuperSport is kicking off the Festive Season with an unbeatable 31-day feast of football starting 22 November to 22 December 2024. During this time, lovers of the beautiful game will experience a live football match every single day on SuperSport.

The 31 days are a testament to SuperSport’s live broadcast capabilities as well as our incredible and reliable broadcast offering. It is the very definition of FootbALL: all the best leagues, all the biggest stars, all the thrilling derbies, all the finals and all the action – all in one place.

AT HOME

This means that viewers can devour the Premier Soccer League (PSL), whose Betway Premiership is beginning to heat up following strong performances by log leaders Orlando Pirates, who sit above seven-time defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns after seven matches unbeaten.

Seventh-placed SuperSport United visit Chippa United (6th) for a fierce battle in Gqeberha between two teams known for playing entertaining football.

Kaizer Chiefs, who reignited their winning credentials this season, will hope to bounce back from a couple of wobbles and do the business against Richards Bay (27 November), Royal Am (30 November), Polokwane City (8 December) and TS Galaxy (16 December) – their opponents during this period.

The Diski Derby is one that will also have fans salivating on 30 November when Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates clash in the DStv Diski Challenge at 12:30, preceded by SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United.

ABROAD

Abroad, the Premier League kicks off its spell of 90 matches in 45 days during this time and, of course, all those matches (and all PSL games) will be available on SuperSport and Showmax Premier League. Premier League action doesn’t get better than Liverpool hosting Manchester City on 1 December at 18:00 (CAT). Top four contenders Chelsea and Aston Villa go head-to-head on the same Super Sunday at 15:30.

15 December also brings the first Manchester Derby of the 2024-25 Premier League season, when Manchester City host new manager Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United

“This period reinforces the message to our viewers that SuperSport truly brings a feast of sporting action like no other broadcaster in the world is able to match,” says SuperSport CEO Rendani Ramovha.

“It is an extravaganza. It’s a period that has us and our viewers and subscribers so excited because it means not a day goes by without their fill of football action. We are extremely proud to be able to bring this array of football to fans across the African continent.”

The 31-day football feast officially kicks off in the EFL Championship when Plymouth Argyle, managed by Wayne Rooney, host promotion-chasing Watford, who are managed by Rooney’s ex-Manchester United teammate Tom Cleverly on Friday 22 November at 10pm (CAT).

A few days later, the Uefa Champions League’s new format delivers on the promise of its new format when European Cup heavyweights Liverpool and Real Madrid face off during Match Day 5 on Wednesday 27 November at Anfield. The two giants recently met during the 2021-22 final and the 2022-23 Round of 16, when Los Blancos came up trumps on both occasions.

Not to be outdone, the CAF Champions League also delivers some historically great clashes when former champions Orlando Pirates host Egypt’s perennial winners Al Ahly on 7 December (15:00) and SA’s most recent African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, welcome Moroccans Raja Casablanca.

The action also continues in the Uefa Europa League and Conference League, LaLiga, Serie A, Carabao Cup, CAF Confederation Cup and more.
