Reijnders header earns Milan win at Monza

AC Milan managed a 1-0 win at Monza thanks to a first-half header from Tijjani Reijnders in Serie A on Saturday.

Midfielder Reijnders scored two minutes before halftime when he nodded home after Alvaro Morata's header was blocked.

Milan are seventh in the table with 17 points, eight adrift of leaders Napoli after 10 games. Monza are 18th with eight.

The visitors went in at the break fortunate to be level after Monza were the more dominant side but could not score.

The evenly contested second half saw both teams create chances but Milan held on to secure the win.
