The DP World Lions sealed a thumping 153-run win over the Momentum Multiply Titans when they bowled them all out for 156 in their second innings during the final session on the final day of their CSA 4-Day series clash at DP World Wanderers on Friday.

Corbin Bosch showed some fight after tea, hitting an unbeaten 44, but it wasn’t enough as it took less than 10 overs for the Lions to nip out the Titans' final two wickets to secure an impressive win in a very back and forth game.

It was the Lions that won the toss and chose to bat, scoring 316 in their first innings, with Zubayr Hamza (84) and captain Dominc Hendricks the key contributors, and Bosch, 4-71, and Tsepo Ndwandwa, 3-73, the main wicket takers.

The Titans responded with 302 all out in their first innings, recovering from 56-4 at a stage thanks largely to Andile Phehlukwayo (88) and Bosch (59), while Lutho Sipamla, 4-83, and Tshepo Moreki, 3-36, picked up the lion's share of the wickets.

The Lions' second innings got off to a disastrous start with them reduced to 4-4 early on, before a brilliant counter-attacking 116 from Bjorn Fortuin and 68 from Hamza helped them to eventually declare on the final day's morning on 295-9, setting the Titans 310 to win, which they were unable to do.

In the day's final session after tea the Titans resumed on 128-8 and after Bosch pulled Sipamla for a six and knocked a single, Dayyaan Galiem edged the bowler to keeper Connor Esterhuizen to fall for a fourth-ball duck, leaving them on 135-9.

Last man Ndwanda (1) stuck around for 18 balls in a 21-run final-wicket stand with Bosch, but eventually popped a catch to Khaya Fakuda at short leg off Fortuin to end the match.

Codi Yusuf finished with fine figures of 4-36 (13 overs), while Fortuin chipped in with 3-50 (15.5 overs).
