African football icons Jay Jay Okocha (Nigeria), Elhadji Diouf (Senegal) and Gadji Celi (Ivory Coast) will be among a long list of African Football legends at the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Afcon Ivory Coast 2023 Coaches Symposium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The event will take place on Thursday and Friday, 12-13 September in Abidjan.

Former Cameroon goalkeeper Antoine Bell, South African defender Mark Fish, and Ghana’s Otto Addo, now coach of the Black Stars, will be attending the two-day gathering.

They will be part of a star-studded line-up that also includes former Nigeria defender Augustine Eguavoen, Fulham legend Luis Boa Morte, who is the current coach of Guinea-Bissau, and Senegal's Pape Thiaw, among others.

The symposium will mark the first-ever such meeting of African coaches, with 50 national team coaches from across CAF’s Member Associations expected to attend.

It will provide a platform for an exchange of ideas and experiences among Africa's top coaches, including Emerse Faé, who led Ivory Coast to the lifting of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2023 title.
