Real Sociedad lead the way with 13 internationals, followed by FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla FC and Atlético de Madrid, each with eight.

The 2026 World Cup, Nations League and U21 2025 European Championships are all in play this week, among other tournaments, as well as a host of friendly matches.

15 La Liga players are joining up with the Spanish national team – the reigning European champions – as they battle for top spot in their Nations League group, while another 15 are joining up with the U21 squad who face friendlies against England and Denmark.

Some of La Liga’s top stars have been called up this week, including the likes of Vini Jr (Real Madrid), Raphinha (FC Barcelona), Pedri (FC Barcelona), Julian Álvarez (Atlético de Madrid) Dani Olmo (FC Barcelona), and Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad).

Their teams, meanwhile, are training with stripped down squads with an eye on the La Liga EA Sports restart on Friday 22nd November.

The likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Real Sociedad are training with less than 10 first-team squad players, taking into account international call-ups and injuries.
