Handre Pollard continued his good form as he produced a matchwinning display for Leicester Tigin their Premiership Rugby clash against Bristol on the weekend.

The Springbok pivot ended the match with a 19-point haul as the Tigers eased to a 49-24 victory. Pollard scored a superlative individual try in the second stanza, chipping over the rushing defence and collecting the ball for a slick five-pointer.

Pollard's radar was working as well, as he slotted five from six kicks and controlled proceedings with aplomb. Bok No 8 Jasper Wiese also featured for the Tigers.

Springbok centre Andre Esterhuisen featured in Harlequins' 36-24 loss to Saracens, who had Springbok scrumhalf Ivan van Zyl feeding the backline.

There was much drama across the English Channel in France, as Springbok World Cup hero Cheslin Kolbe was taken off the field in tears. After scoring another trademark try for Toulon, he landed awkwardly on his ankle and was forced off the field in their 27-23 win over Lyon.

Springbok livewire Cobus Reinach scored a try for Montpellier to help them edge Perpignan 23-22.

La Rochelle started Bok flyer Raymond Rhule at centre as they demolished Bordeaux 36-6 away from home.

Springbok duo Trevor Nyakane and Warrick Gelant ran out for Racing 92 on Sunday as they defeated Stade Fancias 17-13.

On the other side of the globe in Japan's League One, Springboks Faf de Klerk and Jessie Kriel would both scored tries for Canon Eagles as they thumped Kinetsu Liners 64-12.

The undefeated Panasonic Wild Knights defeated Toyota Verblitz 19-10 with the help of Springbok centre Damian de Allende and lock Lood de Jager. Springboks Willie le Roux - who again started at flyhalf - and Pieter-Steph du Toit ran out for Verblitz.

Finally, Malcolm Marx started for Kubota Spears as they beat Kobe Steelers 23-14.
