Titans elected to bat first, with opener Robyn Searle leading the charge, crafting a well-paced 91 that guided the team to a competitive total of 227/8 in their 50 overs.
In response, Western Province’s experienced campaigner, Dane van Niekerk, anchored the chase with an unbeaten 82*, supported by a steady 45 from Babette de Leede. Contributions in the thirties from Kelsey Adams and Saarah Smith ensured a comfortable pursuit, as the hosts reached the target in 41.2 overs, securing a five-wicket victory.
Meanwhile in Oudtshoorn, Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers took on the Knights at Recreation Ground.
Badgers opted to bat first, but the innings was disrupted by an outstanding bowling display from the Knights' Lucian Swartz, who claimed a remarkable 6/29 in her 10 overs. Despite a resilient 49* from skipper Nicolien Janse van Rensburg and 27 runs from Khayakazi Mathe, the Badgers were restricted to 141.
In reply, Knights struggled against a disciplined Badgers attack and were dismissed for just 104. Badgers claimed a 37-run win, thanks to their all-round effort in the field.
