The Hollywoodbets Dolphins Ladies head to Cape Town this weekend to face WSB Western Province in their final round of Hollywoodbets Pro Series action.

The Dolphins have been in great form throughout the Pro Series; however, they have faltered slightly on the resumption of the competition and are still in with a chance to defend their 50 over title, however they will need a big win and have another result go in their favour.

Heading into the final round, coach Angelique Taai was full of praise for her side.

"I am incredibly proud of the girls and how they have played this season," Taai said. "We might have lost a bit of focus during the off time and it's something that we are going to have to assess going forward.

"We'll have to work out what we can do differently during that break to keep the team focused and ready for the second part of the season."

Heading into the final weekend, the Dolphins know what they need to do in order to put pressure on the Lions, Taai believes her team need to continue their preparation as usual.

"We have been focusing on trying to get the girls being positive again and following our processes. We've also been focusing on individuals taking responsibility for their roles in the team.

"For us we always want to focus on our processes, and we do have three spinners spinning it away from the right-handers which is unique to us here at the Dolphins which could be the difference."

The Dolphins will be hoping that they can produce something special this weekend at Newlands and for the competition to come down to the final match of the season is a testament to the competitive nature of both the 50 over and 20 over competitions.

"With the women's game becoming professional and coaches having more access to their players it has done wonders for the women's game in South Africa.

"Also having the Proteas back and playing in the competition does give the tournaments an added boost," Taai added.

It will be an exciting weekend of action for the Dolphins Ladies who play their Hollywoodbets Pro50 match on Saturday and their Hollywoodbets Pro20 on Sunday.
