The Carling Knockout draw held on Tuesday resulted in some thrilling matchups, although the highly anticipated Orlando Pirates vs. Kaizer Chiefs clash failed materialize.

Defending champions Stellenbosch are set to kick off their title defense against an AmaZulu team currently without a coach, following the recent dismissal of their mentor, Pablo Franco.

Kaizer Chiefs face a challenging encounter against SuperSport United, now led by their former coach Gavin Hunt.

Interestingly, these two teams will clash in consecutive matches, as they are also scheduled to meet in their upcoming league fixture.

Fresh off their recent triumph in securing the league's first piece of silverware, Orlando Pirates will host the newly promoted Magesi.

They aim to extend their thrilling cup run under the guidance of coach Jose Riviero.

In another intriguing match-up, Mamelodi Sundowns will host Golden Arrows, with both teams featuring new management on their benches.

Steve Komphela has returned to Sundowns as a senior coach, having left Golden Arrows, where he had taken over as head coach in March after departing from Moroka Swallows.
