New Zealand lock Brodie Retallick has been banned for two weeks for dangerous play during last weekend's win in Japan, World Rugby announced on Tuesday.

Retallick, 31, was shown a red card during Saturday's victory in Tokyo for charging into a ruck and making contact with opposition No 8 Kazuki Himeno.

The Chiefs' Retallick will miss this Saturday's game against Wales and the fixture against Scotland on November 13 but is free to play again in time to face England six days later.
