FULL TIME. Zebre 5-36 Stormers. It is all over in Parma as the referee blows for full time. The Stormers have their first win of the season.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, WILLEMSE. Zebre 5-36 Stormers. It's his toughest kick so far but this time Willemse is able to add the extra two points.
TRY, STORMERS, DAVIDS. 5-34. Duvenhage clears the ball quickly from the base of the scrum. It races through several pairs of hands before before Angelo Davids goes over.
TRY, ZEBRE, GESI. Zebre 5-29 Stormers. The home side swing the ball wide and there doesn't seem to be anything on. But a deft chip and a turn of speed sees the Zebre man gather and score in the corner.
Willemse again misses the conversion.
TRY, STORMERS, ZAS. Zebre 0-29 Stormers. Multiple surging runs from the Stormers as there are big carries from Venter and Louw Nel. Then Duvenhage snipes from the base of a ruck and offloads to Zas. the winger still has plenty to do, but a hand-off and a big dive see him over for his second.
Zebre break at pace down the blindside, but they knock it on again. Scrum to the Stormers.
Penalty again at scrum time and the Stormers set up a lineout.
Poor Zebre, they cannot catch a break tonight as the curse of the unforced error strikes again. Just as they start to build some momentum a simple mistake happens - this time a knock in midfield.
Marcel Theunissen concedes a penalty as the Zebre maul gets some momentum. Zebre set up the lineout.
Great break from Zas after a cheeky pass from Gelant, who has looked very sharp since coming on. But Zas fails to release and is penalized.
YELLOW CARD, ZEBRE, DI BARTOLOMEO. Another scrum penalty. They have been warned that another penalty will mean a card and the referee is true to his word.
Willemse misses the conversion.
TRY, STORMERS, HARTZENBERG. Zebre 0-24 Stormers. Nice work from the Stormers who swing it wide, Gelant with a little step and a well timed off-load leaving the winger to run through.
Stormers straight back onto the attack though as Venter gets over the ball and Zebre hold on. But it ends with a knock.
The Stormers opt to scrum for the penalty - they have made some changes to the front row, with Brok Harris and Andre-Hugo Venter on. This time the scrum penalty goes the way of Zebre.
It is wave-after-wave of Stormers attack as they go and go again at the Zebre line. They are held out but they win another penalty...
Stormers win another scrum penalty and the referee stops play for a moment to warn Zebre that another scum penalty will translate into a yellow.
It has been a big night for Jurie Matthee, who has scored all the points so far. He is subbed now as Damian Willemse moves to 10 and Warrick Gelant goes to 15.
Stormers win another penalty at the scrum and referee plays advantage as Morabe goes on a marauding run. The Stormers can't quite find a way through though.
Another scrum for the Stormers after Zebre kick it aimlessly out the back. A scrum is the last thing Zebre will want - it hasn't been going well for them in that department.
Zebre set up an attacking lineout after Morabe is penalized for holding on. But the giant JD Schickerling steals the ball and then Zebre are penalized as Stormers exit comfortably.
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATTHEE. Zebre 0-19 Stormers. Another huge scrum for the Stormers win them a penalty. They play advantage but when nothing is forthcoming up steps Matthee to bang it over the poles as the Stormers keep inching ahead.
The second half starts much the same as the first ended with an unforced error. Zebre looking for lineout kick the ball touch in goal and the Stormers will get a scrum just inside the Zebre half.
We are back underway in Parma as the heavily bandaged Giacomo Da Re gets things going.
HALF TIME, Zebre 0-16 Stormers. It hasn't been vintage rugby but it has been gritty. The players head to the changerooms with the Stormers in charge.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, MATTHEE. Easy kick from just in front sees the Stormers extend their lead further.
TRY, STORMERS, ZAS. Zebre 0-14 Stormers. The Stormers win the lineout and instead of a maul they get it out quickly. Morabe runs the dummy line and Paul de Wet shoots through a gap. He draws his man and Zas looms on his inside to score a simple try.
Another side entry at a ruck means a pnalty for the Stormers who were looking to breakout quickly following a scrum free-kick. Matthee sets up the lineout as time runs down on the half.
Some powerful driving play and some big collisions as the Stormers continue to win the physical battle. But it all comes to nothing as they knock-on at the base of the ruck looking to move the ball quickly.
The Stormers scrum is proving too much for Zebre to handle as the men from Cape Town are awarded another penalty. Fouche the man doing the damage again. Matthee sets up the lineout again.
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATTHEE. Zebre 0-9 Stormers. Hands beyond the ball and it is right in front of the posts. Matthee makes no mistake as he adds the three.
Stormers win another penalty and Matthee finds touch. A silly mistake from Fischetti who dives in from the side of a ruck.
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATTHEE. Zebre 0-6 Stormers. A huge double tackle from Morabe and Marcel Theunissen drives Zebre back and then big Rueben van Heerden steps in with the clean. Zebre don't release and it's a penalty to the Stormers who kick for poles. There is a long delay first as the TMO queries the legality of Van Heerden's cleanout. It is hard to see any head-on-head contact though. The original penalty stands and Matthee kicks it over from the tee.
Another knock-on. Another scrum. The Stormers have the majority of the possession but they are doing nothing with it. This time it is a scrum feed for Zebre.
Another huge scrum from the Stormers that wins them the penalty. Matthee kicks for touch and misses again. Inexcusable. That's twice this evening.
It really is messy. Stormers win the lineout and Keke Morabe and Dweba bash it up through the middle. But they spill the ball and concede the scrum. There is quite a heavy dew out there.
This time the Stormers win a penalty at the scrum as Neethling Fouche gets the better of his man. Matthee finds touch as well.
Zebre win the lineout (again). That's three in a row. The Stormers defend it well and the ball is held up. Stormers win a scrum.
and another penalty for Zebre. The ball goes loose after the lineout and as the Stormers look to win it back their are hands beyond the ball. Another lineout for the home team.
Another penalty conceded by the Stormers and Zebre will look for the lineout again.
Zebre knock on under the high ball and it is a scrum to the Stormers. It is all a bit scrappy so far. And continues to be so as Sithole is penalised at the scrum and Zebre set up a lineout.
Each side has a spell of possession. Damian Willemse claims a great high ball and the Stormers win a penalty, but they fail to find touch, which is a bad mistake.
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATTHEE. Zebre 0-3 Stormers. Big Danilo Fischetti is offside at a breakdown right in front of the poles and Matthee opens the Stormers scoring for the night.
