There is a knock on ion the tackle and the Pumas have another attacking scrum.
Argentina have the scrum feed but they had made a mess of clearing their maul.
Ford takes the mark and calms it down with a kick to touch. Argentina have the lineout feed inside the England half.
England spill it on attack and now the Pumas have the scrum just about 15 metres from halfway.

Sanchez slots a penalty goal as Argentina find the points too much to turn down.

Farrell kicks the goal.
Argentina buckle at scrum time and Farrell can call for the tee.
England spill it in midfield but they are forcing Argentina to play deep inside their own half,
Sanchez takes successive marks as England test him in the air.
It is taking a long time to set up a scrum with some new players in the front rows.
Now Argentina get the penalty but they don't find touch and England kick it long again
Argentina have a big decision against them and England can clear their lines.
Argentina edge a kicking battle and will have an attacking lineout after Smith finds touch close to the ten inside the England half.
PENALTY, ARGENTINA, 20-23:
Boffelli closes the gap again.
The Pumas win the battle in the air and they will get a penalty as well.

Farrell converts.

Carreras goes through a hole and won't be stopped and that's a dream start to the half by Argentina.
The match is restarted by Argentina and England gather. Their kick to touch is straight out and the Pumas have an attacking lineout.

England started fast but the Pumas came clawing back at them.
Boffelli just can't gather a loose ball for Argentina and England have another attacking scrum to end the half.
Both sides spill it on the Pumas 22 but England will have the scrum feed.

TRY, ARGENTINA, CUBELLI, 8-16:
Cubelli barges over for the score for Argentina.
Argentina tumble over in a counter-ruck and give away a penalty and this time England go to the lineout on the Pumas 22.
PENALTY, ENGLAND, FARRELL, 3-16:
Farrell stretches the English lead with a penalty goal.
England have a player down now and their coaches (water boys) come on again.
Farrell sends up an up-and-under off the free kick after the Pums are done for numbers at the lineout but the Pumas eventually scramble it clear.
PENALTY, ARGENTINA, BOFFELLI, 3-13:
Boffelli gets Argentina on the board with a penalty.
Smith calms things down with a mark and kick to touch that takes play back into the Argentina half.
Argentina get some momentum as Boffelli wins a battle in the air but the Pumas knock on at the crucial moment again.
The Pumas scrum can't get dominance and they knock on at the base.
The Pumas have another penalty advantage and try a kick for the wing but it doesn't come off. They call for a scrum from the penalty.
Argentina have their ball spoiled by England illegally and they set up a lineout inside the England 22.
PENALTY, ENGLAND, FARRELL, 0-13:
Farrell kicks the goal again.
Farrell calls for the tee as England cannot use an advantage.
Steward kicks an excellent touchfinder and the Pumas are put under pressure at the lineout and lose the ball. Here come England in attack again.

Farrell adds the conversion.

Earl powers through a hole after getting the pass from Smith.
Argentina clear to touch, but the kick is not long and England could mount a proper attack. Farrell drills in the grubber but Malia gets back and kicks up to the Pumas 22 again.
England wildly celebrate an Argentina knock-on in a bizarre display but they certainly are pumped up.
PENALTY, ENGLAND, FARRELL, 0-3:
England get an early penalty as Argentina are isolated and Owen Farrell kicks the goal.
KICK OFF: England kick off and Argentina eventually gather, a half charged kick causes problems for the Pumas but Carreras gets the mark on a kick from Smith.
