FULL TIME! 12-10. Zebre have done it! They hold onto the ball after running down the clock and then hoof it into touch. The Italians have broken a record 28-game winless run, going back to April 2022. It was a unusually gritty performance from the hosts, but an effective one as they punished an ill-disciplined Sharks team.

Zebre win their lineout and take the ball up to five metres from the Sharks' tryline. They are a minute from breaking their 28-game losings streak.

RED CARD! Andrews receives his marching orders for a dangerous cleanout that took a Zebre player through the horizontal onto his head. This is a massive blow to the Sharks and a huge opportunity for Zebre.

TMO CHECK! Sharks lock Andrews is penalised for a dangerous cleanout on the halfway line. The TMO wants to have another look at it.

Cronje grubber kicks the ball out into Zebre's 22. The hosts win the lineout under pressure and clear up to the halfway line.

The Sharks win a vital penalty from the scrum. Cronje kicks up to the opposition 10-metre line and the Sharks win the ball at the lineout, before launching an attack.

Zebre wind down a couple of minutes with scrum resets. Fassi knocks the ball on near his own 22, giving the hosts a scrum in an attacking position.

A frenetic period comes to an end with Zebre throwing a forward pass, just as they looked to counter-attack from the haflway line. Fassi is back on the field from his yellow card as the Sharks return to 15 players.

PENALTY, ZEBRE, PRISCIANTELLI! 12-10. It's an excellent strike on the angle from the Zebre fullback, giving the hosts the lead going into the final 13 minutes.

The Sharks give away a penalty as Dyantyi is caught in front of the kicker. Zebre opt for goal, as three points will give them the lead.

Richardson pounces on a lineout error from Zebre to carry the Sharks to the 22. However, the visitors are penalised for a neck roll at the breakdown.

A magnificent effort from Mchnu gets the ball back from the kick off. However, Zebre hold the ball up and win a penalty from the subsequent scrum. The hosts kick the ball up to the halfway line.

YELLOW CARD! Fassi is sent to the sin bin for making head contact with his tackle on Zebre scrumhalf Garcia. Both players were in a dipped position. Zebre will have a shot at goal.

TMO CHECK! The TMO wants to have a look at a tackle from Fassi, as the Sharks produced some brutal defence to stop Zebre from getting into their 22.

Zebre win a penalty from a scrum, after Janse van Rensburg knocks the ball on in a promising position. Fassi does excellently to keep the kick in play, before hoofing the ball down towards the halfway line.

Solid defence from Zebre forces the Sharks backwards. Chamberlain tries the drop-goal from just outside the 22, but his attempt goes wide.

So nearly for the Sharks! A break is engineered by Chamberlain latching onto Wright's chip kick over the defence. The ball is taken through the phases into Zebre's 22, but the final pass lets the Sharks down, as Kok knocks it on into touch.

Zebre earn a scrum in Sharks' territory. A strong carry from Licata brings them into the 22, but a misplaced pass goes into touch. It has been an inaccurate start from both teams.

An error-filled start to the second half sees both teams knock the ball forward. The game will restart with a scrum on the Sharks' 10-metre line.

KICK OFF! 6-10. The Sharks get the second half of this URC match underway in Parma. The visitors have looked dangerous when they have got the ball in hand, but will too see the ball in Zebre's half and will look for better execution when they do get into opposition territory. Zebre finished the first half strongly, but couldn't come away with points from their pressure.

HALF TIME! 6-10. The Sharks win the ball from their lineout, take it through a couple of phases and kick it into touch to bring an end to the first half. The visitors had to survive a late onslaught in the final 10 minutes to hold onto the lead given to them by Cameron Wright's converted try.

A fantastic tackle from Fassi puts charging flanker Bianchi into touch in the Sharks' 22. It has been a big period of defence from the Sharks.

The Sharks force the knock-on from Zebre at the lineout. They win the ball and Chamberlain clears down to beyond the 22. That was bodies on the line stuff from the visitors.

It's incredible defence from the Sharks, as Zebre go within a metre of scoring a try, but are denied. However, the visitors have conceded another penalty and are placed on an official warning by the referee.

The Sharks are given a warning after conceding three penalties in a row. Zebre set the maul, but are forced to use the ball.

Zebre win a breakdown penalty after a strong carry from lock Krumov. They win the lineout in the Sharks' 22 and form a maul, before spreading the ball wide and winning another penalty.

A breathless period ends with Chamberlain putting the ball out on Zebre's 10-metre line.

TRY, SHARKS, WRIGHT! 6-8. The Sharks get the opening try of this match! It's built on solid work from the forwards, who carry the visitors near Zebre's 22. Good hands between forwards and backs, create the overlap, with the ball popped inside for scrumhalf Wright to finish.

Werner Kok is penalised from the kickoff, for making an off-the-ball tackle which left Zebre scrumhalf Garcia winded. Zebre kick up to the halfway line.

PENALTY, ZEBRE, TRULLA! 6-3. Zebre are back in front, through a 50-metre penalty from winger Trulla.

A Sharks lineout on the halfway line is messy, but lock Corne Rahl gathers and makes an incredible run down to Zebre's 22. Chamberlain attempts a chip kick, but it is gathered and the mark is called.

PENALTY, SHARKS, CHAMBERLAIN! 3-3. The Sharks hit straight back to level the scores through flyhalf Chamberlain, after winning an attacking lineout from the kickoff.

The first real period of attack ends with Zebre winning an offsides penalty after hammering away at the Sharks' tryline. This time, the Italians opt to try for three points.

There is a late change to Zebre's starting lineup as Italian international Luca Morisi has replaced Fetuli Paea in midfield.

Sharks head coach John Plumtree has kept the changes minimal, as his injury-hit side looks to end their four-week tour on a high note. There are just two changes, as George Cronje starts at No 8, swapping places with Sikhumbuzo Notshe who drops to the bench after last week’s defeat against Welsh club Ospreys in London, while Boeta Chamberlain takes over the No 10 jumper from Curwin Bosch, who is ruled out with concussion. Bosch joins a long injury list that includes hooker Kerron van Vuuren, locks Gerbrandt Grobler, Reniel Hugo and Le Roux Roets, loose forward Vincent Tshituka and scrumhalf Francois Hougaard.

In the backline, there is a new halfback combination of Gonzalo Garcia and English flyhalf Tiff Eden.

The Sharks have not won away from home in the Championship since beating the Lions in Johannesburg in February. The South Africans have won all four previous matches they have played against Italian opponents, including a 42-37 victory the only previous time they visited Parma in September 2022

The Sharks have won both of their previous matches against Zebre, claiming a comfortable 38-6 victory in Durban in March 2022, before having to survive an onslaught to come away with a 42-37 win in Parma in September 2022.

Zebre Parma are also still searching for that elusive first victory of the season but have now secured a try bonus point in their last four matches. The home side is in 13th place on the table, thanks to a total of five bonus points from their first three games of the season.

The Sharks come into this match at the bottom of the URC table, having lost all three of their opening fixtures without being able to come away with any bonus points. They are in the midst of their worst ever run in the tournament, having lost their last four matches and without a win in their last five, going back to last season.
