Scotland kicked-off with an 18-3 loss to South Africa, but followed it up with a 45-17 win over Tonga to keep their quarter-final hopes alive. After today's match they will front up to Ireland, who won't have played for a fortnight, which could give Scotland a vital edge in what would be a must-win game for them.

Romania started this World Cup with a disastrous 82-8 loss to No 1 ranked Ireland. They followed that up with a 76-0 loss to South Africa. After this match with Scotland that will be up against Tonga in the final match of Pool A.
