The game grinds to a halt as the referee struggles to get the scrum set and eventually the Pumas cleat it but they spill the balll in midfield and Australia can attack. Australia then knock on as advantage expires and Argentina get the scrum feed close to their own 22.

Argentina charge down the exit kick and then win a penalty in the scramble. They reject the shot at goal and set a lineout just inside the Australia 22. They win the lineout but then spill the ball in midfield and Australia quickly switch play and can attack from a good base in the Pumas half. However a forward pass ends their attack and the Pumas have a scrum feed roughly halfway between their 22 and ten metre line.
