The first clash between the two juggernauts of world cricket on Friday 08 November at Durban’s Kingsmead Stadium will kickstart the home leg of our six-month-long Summer of Cricket, jam-packed with the best Proteas Men’s and Women’s cricket, including all three formats and the 2024 ICC Champions Trophy.

The added significance of this already historic fixture is the recent 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, where Gautum Gambhir’s men were the only hurdle Aiden Markram and Co could not clear, losing in the final thanks to an inspired display by Indian captain Virat Kohli.

As Africa’s biggest broadcaster and one of the biggest on the planet for live sport, broadcasting more than 50 000 hours of live sport per year, SuperSport will commit world-class coverage to the four-match series, making SuperSport the preferred viewing destination for all things cricket.

The likes of Mpumelelo “Pommie” Mbangwa, Shaun Pollock, Crystal Arnold, Ashwell Prince, Vernon Philander, Makhaya Ntini and Hashim Amla bring to Your World of Champions a wealth of experience honed over decades of covering or playing cricket at the highest level. They have now been joined by seasoned cricket commentator, presenter and analyst Natalie Germanos.
