There is a four-way tie at the top of the MTN Super League with the potential that one or more teams could break away with a full round of action this weekend.

Nkana FC are top with 33 points, but only ahead on goal-difference from Kabwe Warriors, ZESCO United and defending champions Red Arrows.

And two of those sides meet as Nkana travel to ZESCO in a highly anticipated clash on Sunday.

Nkana are unbeaten in six (W4 D2), while ZESCO have just a single victory in seven (D5 L1) as their once commanding lead at the top of the table has been completely eroded away.

ZESCO have had the better of meetings of late with three wins and a draw in the last four, and their last 15 at home in the league have seen them win 10 games and Nkana four with a single draw.

On Saturday, Warriors host in-form Mufulira Wanderers, who are unbeaten in nine games (W5 D4) going back to early November.

That has seen them rise into mid-table.

Warriors have had a sticky patch after winning five in a row. They have a single win from their next five (D2 L2).

They have lost only one of their last 10 games against Wanderers in the league, with four victories and five draws.

GREEN EAGLES LOOKING TO SOAR AGAIN

Red Arrows go to inconsistent FC MUZA, who on their day are a match for anyone, but can blow hot and cold.

MUZA’s last seven games have seen four draws (W1 L2), while Arrows are on the up with four wins and three draws in their previous seven.

Arrows have won the last two meetings between the sides.

Fifth-placed Green Eagles are three points behind the leaders after they lost last time out to Lumwana Radiants in a shock result.

They will hope to get back on track when they go to Mutondo Stars on Sunday.

Power Dynamos will hope to break a run of three successive losses when they host bottom side Indeni, who have a single win all season.

Surprise strugglers Zanaco are second bottom, three points from safety, as they go to Atletico Lusaka.

In other matches this weekend, Lumwana Radiants host Nchanga Rangers, NAPSA Stars welcome Nkwazi and Forest Rangers are at Green Buffaloes.
