WWE fans in South Africa are in for a punching treat! From 17 March to 19 April 2025, WWE Raw, SmackDown and NXT will be available to DStv Access subscribers on SuperSport Variety 4 (DStv Channel 209).

This special access means more fans can follow the drama, action, and high-stakes rivalries on Your World of Champions, leading up to the spectacle of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

WWE’s availability on DStv Access will include live events and re-runs, ideal for families to stay in the loop with all the action. Fans who wish to have unlimited, 24-hour WWE content via the WWE channel (128) are able to do so by upgrading to a DStv Premium subscription.

There hasn’t been a more ideal time to take advantage of the DStv’s Fak’iklipa promotion which allows fans to upgrade their DStv Access subscription to Compact or from Compact to Premium for an additional R100 on their premium for even more WWE content.

The road to WrestleMania is filled with twists and turns, and this year is no exception.

Excitement peaked as John Cena went heel, combining forces with WWE legend, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to turn on reigning WWE champion, Cody Rhodes.

The unexpected turn of events caused pandemonium within the WWE Universe as Cena’s unexpected villainous turn put him at odds with his own fans – undoubtedly one of the most shocking turns of events in almost 20 years. SmackDown in the coming weeks is where it will transpire what Cena and The Rock are cooking.

The first episode to watch what happens next will be on Friday, 21 March at 21:00 (all times CAT), followed by a new instalment the following week at 22:00. The three Saturdays that follow will see Africa’s biggest sports broadcaster air the episodes live at 02:00, all on SS Variety 4 (Channel 209).

The ever-brewing tension between CM Punk and former champion Seth Rollins is hotting up on WWE Raw. After many unforeseen turns at the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber between the two athletes – the road to WrestleMania is sure to include a few more brawls.

WWE Raw will air on Mondays with a 21:00 start time on 17 March and at 22:00 the two Mondays thereafter, and a 02:00 start on Tuesdays 8 and 15 April 2025.

In the women’s division Charlotte Flair’s victory in the Royal Rumble has set the cat among the pigeons.

Her takedown of reigning WWE Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton sent a clear message of intention – illustrating why she is a 15-time world champion.

Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley’s shocking loss of the WWE Women’s World Championship title to Iyo Sky also drew attention. Ripley’s ire is sure to be directed towards Bianca Belair who had distracted her during her championship bout with Sky.

Both these rivalries thicken the already exhilarating plot ahead of WrestleMania 41.

WWE NXT fans will also be able to watch the action every Wednesday at 02:00 on Your World of Champions.

The interest will not only be on the professional wrestlers in the ring but the potential high-profile cameos that might come to fruition. Few have piqued interest quite the like the cameos of the popular streamer IShowSpeed at the Royal Rumble and musician Travis Scott at the recent Elimination Chamber.

These cameos always generate fanfare with the storylines teased on Raw, SmackDown and NXT adding fuel to the flame.

WWE landing on DStv Access could not come at a more opportune time for fans to sink their teeth into all the action and enjoy the best of WWE talent only on Your World of Champions, SuperSport on SuperSport Variety 4 (Channel 209) courtesy of the Home of Sport, DStv.

In even greater news for streaming fans in South Africa, as of 13 March 2025, all DStv Premium, Compact Plus, and Compact customers will have access to two concurrent streams as part of their subscription, giving them the freedom to watch on any device, including smart TVs, laptops or smartphones.
