Dire Dawa top Ethiopia Coffee, Hadiya and CBE goalless

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia were held to a goalless draw Sunday, and Dire Dawa shocked Ethiopia Coffee with a 2-1 win.

CBE's result will be music to the ears of St George, Mekelakeya and both their fans as it keeps the Bankers still within reach.

In the second game between Ethiopia Coffee and Dire Dawa, it was an explosive first half but strong defending by both sides means it was fine margins between them.

However, Charles Muslige broke the deadlock for Dire Dawa just three minutes after the restart with a goal in the 48th minute.

Ethiopia Coffee fought back and were rewarded with a 67th minute equalizer through Anteneh Tefera.

The game became intense with end to end attacking football as both sides looked for a winner.
