Ethiopian Insurance chase Wolaitta points, Mekelakeya host Fasil

Ethiopian Insurance are involved in a 3-way title challenge with St George and Bahir Dar City with very thin margins separating them, and they face Wolaitta Dicha desperate for a win.

Mekelakeya will host Fasil City in the other game of the day and those two have designs for joining the earlier-mentioned trio.

Ethiopian Insurance's phenomenal showing this season has been a breath of fresh air in a league with typical challengers, and they have defied all logic.

In their last game, they decimated Legetafo Legedadi with a 7-1 win thanks to goals from Habib Kemal, Biruk Mulugeta and Wogene Gezahegn, alongside braces from both Simon Peter and Kitika Jima.

Tafesse Solomon scored for Fasil, and they will hope for a repeat on Sunday but crucially, they will expect Mawuli to come to the party.

Mekelakeya promised so much at the start of the season with the calibre of Players they attracted, and after an indifferent start to the season, they seemed to have turned a corner.

However, they have been inconsistent, and their recent loss to Arbaminch City sums up their season.

Samuel Saliso had given Mekelakeya the lead before they conceded two goals to lose 1-2.
