Ethiopia Coffee, Fasil draw, Sidama pip Ethio Electric

The BetKing Ethiopia Premier League week 15 games continued on Tuesday as Ethiopia Coffee and Fasil City played out a 1-1 draw with Sidama Coffee earning a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ethio Electric.

Sidama scored their lone goal in the 51st minute through Salahdin Seid.

The veteran striker headed in from close range from a freekick beating Ethio Electric goalkeeper Tilahun Tadele .

It was a painful defeat for the two-time Ethiopia Premier League Champion, Ethio Electric, who saw chances missed by Ibrahim Kadir and captain Sinteyehu Waleche.

In the early fixture, Ethiopia Coffee drew 1-1 with Fasil City

Fasil drew first blood in the 15th minute through Natenael Gebregiorges.

Ethiopia Coffee equalised in the 34th minute via a penalty kick converted by Amanuel Yohannes.

This was a game that either of the sides could have won with all the chances created.

Both goalscorers missed opportunities to score a second goal with Gebregiogis rounding up the keeper in the 57th minute.

Mesfin Tafesse missed two goalscoring opportunities, first with a volley, and in the last minute when he was one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but his shot was off the mark
