Nkana climb MTN Super League table after win
Nkana FC moved up to fourth in the table with a 1-0 victory over Kabwe Warriors in their MTN Super League clash on Thursday.
An Alex Ngonga penalty midway through the second half sealed the three points for the 2019-20 champions, who deserved the victory on the balance of play.
Nkana are now six points behind leaders Red Arrows, but have played a game more, while Warriors re languishing in 13th with no wins in their last six games (D2 L4).

The midweek fixture follows that of Zanaco and Green Eagles that finished 1-1 on Wednesday.
Emmanuel Mwaba gave Eagles the lead shortly afterwards, but Zanaco, who were last season’s runners-up, equalised via Moses Phiri.
Eagles are in third, and like Nkana trail Arrows by six points having played a game more.
The result was a fourth draw in a row for Zanaco, who look out of title contention this season. They have the joint most number of stalemates this season with 11 from their 22 games.
