DAY 2: New Zealand out for 348 against England in first test

New Zealand were all out for 348 early on day two of the first test against England in Christchurch on Friday.

After resuming at 319-8, the hosts added a further 29 runs in eight overs, with Glenn Phillips advancing his overnight 41 to be 58 not out.

Kane Williamson, who was out late on day one, top-scored with 93.

Brydon Carse took the final two wickets for England to finish with 4-64 while Shoaib Bashir took 4-69.
