Power Dynamos moved into second place in the MTN Super League with a 2-1 victory over Kabwe Warriors on Sunday.

Dynamos are four points behind leaders ZESCO United having claimed a third win in a row, but had to hold off a late challenge from Warriors.

Prince Mumba gave Dynamos the lead inside six minutes before they doubled their advantage via an own goal from Field Kandela.

That was the way it stayed until the 86th minute when Bartuel Tembo pulled a goal back for the visitors, but they could not find an equaliser.

On Saturday, ZESCO were held to a 2-2 draw by Forest Rangers despite leading twice.

Abraham Siakombo netted a brace for ZESCO, but Rangers replied each time with goals from Dieugo Apanane and Kulita Upita.

Defending champions Red Arrows left it late but secured a 1-0 win over Nkwazi FC thanks to an 89th-minute winner from Derrick Bulaya.

They are now six points behind the leaders with a game in hand.

Third-place Mutondo Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by ZANACO as they were forced to come from behind following Wilson Chisala’s opener.

Emmanuel Kalala earned a point for Stars just past the hour-mark.

Nkana FC put in arguably their best performance of the season with a 3-1 away win at Mufulira Wanderers.

Jacob Ngulube and Patrick Gondwe had Nkana 2-0 up at the break.

Evans Chisanga pulled one back for Wanderers but Idriss Ilunga added a third for the visitors.

FC MUZA earned a 2-0 home win over Atletico Lusaka thanks to a brace of goals from Biston Banda, while Lucky Bwalya scored twice as Green Buffaloes beat Lumwana Radiants 2-0.

Lola Moise was also on target twice for Green Eagles as they won 2-1 away at Nchange Rangers, and bottom side Indeni FC earned only their second point of the season with a 1-1 draw against NAPSA Stars.

The latter took the lead in the first minute through Evans Kayombo, but Indeni equalised via Thomas Daka midway through the first half.
