The MTN Super League returns after a three week hiatus over the festive season and it is back with a bang as the previous two title winners clash as Red Arrows host Power Dynamos on Saturday.

Just three points separate Zesco United at the top of the table and Dynamos in sixth, meaning it is all to play for in the second half of the campaign.

Arrows are on 30 points, two behind Zesco, and go into the game on the back of a six-match unbeaten run (W3 D3).

Dynamos may have been out of sight at the top of the table but have taken just a single point from the last 12 available (D1 L3) and so have faltered badly in their title charge.

The last seven meetings have resulted in two wins for Arrows, one for Dynamos and four draws.

Zesco are away at Nkwazi on Sunday, with the latter also hoping to enter the title reckoning as they sit four points behind their visitors.

Zesco will rue too many draws of late, four in their last six games (W1 L1), while Nkwazi have three wins in their previous six (D1 L2). Zesco have in fact drawn their last five on the road.

Nkana FC have put behind them some relegation struggles in recent seasons and are currently in second place as they host Mutondo Stars. Two draws at the end of 2024 stopped them going top.

They have been particularly strong at home, winning their last four games on their own patch, scoring 10 goals and conceding one. Stars have lost seven of their previous nine games (W1 D1).

Kabwe Warriors were flying earlier in the season but have taken two points from the last 12 as they go to Nchanga Rangers. The latter had been unbeaten in six (W3 D3) before they lost to FC MUZA last time out.

Fourth-placed Green Eagles host third bottom Lumwana Radiants, who would not have wanted the long break having finally found some form. Radiants are unbeaten in five (W3 D2) and are now just three points from safety.

Eagles are unbeaten in 10, though have drawn four of their last five (W1).

Other matches this weekend see NAPSA Stars host Atletico Lusaka, Mufulira Wanderers welcome FC MUZA, Zanaco travel to Forest Rangers and Indeni take on Green Buffaloes.

Bottom side Indeni won their first game of the season at the 18th attempt last time out against Zanaco, but are still 14 points from safety.
