Nienaber reveals details on the Covid outbreak

After the first episode of Two Sides, SuperSport’s new groundbreaking documentary about the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa, we caught up with Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber, who explained to us just how the Covid outbreak hampered their plans.

In this exclusive interview, Nienaber talks about how they managed to get a team together to train for the test series and SA A game while under Covid quarantine and just how bad the quarantine outbreak - which affected 26 players in the squad and management - hit them during the build-up to the Lions tour.
