Full Time
New Zealand hardly had to break a sweat for that victory. Two tries either side of half time, from Shannon Frizell, set the All Blacks on their way, before Will Jordan dotted down twice to seal his hat-trick. Those three tries have seen him equal Jonah Lomu's record for eight tournament tries in a single World Cup, which he could break in the final. The All Blacks will find out their opponents tomorrow evening, when defending champions South Africa are up against 2019 silver-medalists England in a hopefully more competitive second semi-final.

Full Time
FULL TIME! 6-44. New Zealand are through to a record fifth World Cup final! That was a dominant performance from the All Blacks. It ended up being as one-sided a semi-final as we have ever seen at the World Cup. Argentina couldn't capitalise on a plethora of opportunities in the first half and were completely outplayed in the second half. New Zealand will be delighted, as they were able to haul most of their key starting players off midway through the second half, resting them for the final.

Commentary
We are into the third minute of overtime and Argentina win a penalty for offside inside their own 22. Nico Sanchez fails to find touch with his kick.

Commentary
The All Blacks launch a late onslaught of Argentina's tryline, but this time Los Pumas force the knock on front the All Blacks. The game will restart with a scrum in overtime.

Conversion
CONVERSION MISSED! The conversion goes wide from Mounga, but that try from Jordan has definitely put the result beyond all doubt.

Try
TRY, NEW ZEALAND, JORDAN! 6-44. That's the hat-trick for Jordan! It's the pick of the lot from the winger as he breaks from inside his own 22, runs to the halfway line, chips over the defence, gathers and scores. That sees him equal Jonah Lomu's record for eight World Cup tournament tries.
68’
Commentary
Argentina get a lineout in New Zealand territory and carry it up to the 22, but for the umpteenth time, they lose the ball just as they hit the All Blacks' 22-metre line.
65’
Yellow Card
YELLOW CARD! Scott Barrett is sent to the sin bin after slapping the ball out of Argentina's hands when he was off his feet at a breakdown. New Zealand are down to 14 men for the next 10 minutes.
65’
Commentary
TMO CHECK! The TMO wants to check a bit of cynical breakdown play from New Zealand lock Scott Barrett.
62’
Conversion
CONVERSION MISSED! 6-39. Mounga once again sends his conversion narrowly wide from the left touchline, but it matters little, as New Zealand have a 33-point lead, with under 20 minutes to play.

Try
TRY, NEW ZEALAND, JORDAN! 6-39. There it is for Jordan! It's his second try of the match, and seventh overall in the tournament. One more and he equals the record set by Jonah Lomu. It's a simple finish for the winger in the left corner, after excellent work from the All Blacks forwards.
59’
Commentary
Argentina take the ball through six phases, but, after a promising run from prop Gallo, the ball is knocked on at the breakdown. New Zealand work the ball up to the halfway line and win a penalty for offside.
56’
Commentary
An excellent break from Argentina, started by Mateo Carreras, leads to Los Pumas winning a penalty. They opt to kick into New Zealand's 22, desperately needing a try to get back into the contest.
53’
Commentary
So nearly for Will Jordan! Initially, some excellent defending from Argentina, over 18 phases, and Jordie Barrett attempts a cross-field kick, with Jordan in space on the right wing. The kick is just a little bit high for Jordan, with the tryline, and a record-equalling eighth try, at his mercy.
51’
Commentary
Those two Frizell tries on either side of half time have effectively killed Argentina's hopes of a comeback. It is exactly what New Zealand would have wanted. The All Blacks win another scrum penalty and Jordie Barrett kicks down to Argentina's 22.

Conversion
CONVERSION, NEW ZEALAND, MOUNGA! 6-34. Mounga adds the extras, to take New Zealand to a 28-point lead. The All Blacks have to be favourites to win from here. It's a long, long way back for Argentina to give themselves a chance of victory.
48’
Try
TRY, NEW ZEALAND, FRIZELL! 6-32. Frizell has his second try! It all starts from that mazy run from Mounga. From there, the All Blacks through 15 phases, getting tackled narrowly short of the tryline a few times. However, a powerful run from Frizell gets the ball over for the All Blacks' fifth try.
46’
Commentary
An excellent run from Richie Mounga brings New Zealand into Argentina's 22.
43’
Conversion
CONVERSION, NEW ZEALAND, MOUNGA! 6-27. Having missed his attempt just before the break, Mounga is successful from the right touchline, taking New Zealand to a 21-point lead. Argentina have a mountain to climb in the second half.
41’
Try

Kick Off
KICK OFF! 6-20. New Zealand get the second half of this World Cup semi final underway in Paris. The All Blacks cruised through that first half, despite spending most of it on defence. They haven't had to get out of third gear to earn a 14-point lead. Argentina have been pretty one-directional on attack and have to score first in this second half to stand a chance of winning.
40’
Half Time
HALF TIME! 6-20. New Zealand go into the break leading by 14, after a first half where they have spent plenty of time on defence, making 121 tackles to Argentina's 80. Los Pumas really struggled to adapt to the referee's whistle in the first half, conceding eight penalties. Many of those have come just when they are building momentum in New Zealand's territory.
40’
Conversion
CONVERSION MISSED! 6-20. Mounga sends a second conversion wide. New Zealand will take a 14-point lead into half time.
40’
Try
TRY, NEW ZEALAND, FRIZELL! 6-20. New Zealand get over just before the break. That could be a crucial score. It all comes from wonderful work from Mark Telea, who beats three tackles to give the All Blacks momentum. He is pulled short of the tryline, but the ball goes wide to give Frizell an easy finish in the corner.
39’
Commentary
Another attack from Argentina goes down a dead end before a desperate offload from Lavanini is knocked on. New Zealand win a penalty from the scrum and kick up to just outside Argentina's 22.

Scott Barrett concedes a penalty for taking out Argentina's scrumhalf at a breakdown. Carreras kicks all the way down to New Zealand's 22, but the All Blacks win the ball back at the lineout. Los Pumas are getting plenty of attacking opportunities, but aren't making them count.
22’

16’
Try
TRY, NEW ZEALAND, JORDIE BARRETT! 3-12. Barrett finishes an excellent team try for the All Blacks. It all started with that Telea turnover when Argentina had built up 12 phases of attack in New Zealand's 22. Wonderful hands between backs and forwards put Barrett over in the corner.

Trivia
The referee for this game is Australia’s Angus Gardner. In his first-ever Rugby World Cup knockout outing, and his fourth game in this tournament, Gardner takes charge of a match involving these two sides for the fifth time. He refereed Los Pumas’ 2020 victory over the All Blacks, as well as the most recent meeting between the two sides, a 41-12 victory for New Zealand in the Rugby Championship. Gardner will be assisted by fellow Australian Nic Berry and England’s Karl Dickson. The TMO is Ben Whitehouse, from Wales.

Trivia
Argentina are packing a couple of weapons of their own. No 8 Facundo Isa- winning his 50th Test cap tonight - has averaged the most metres per carry of any forward in this year’s tournament, while Thomas Gallo has beaten 18 defenders, the most of any forward, an incredible stat for a loosehead prop.
0’
Trivia
Ardie Savea will be one to watch in this clash. Since his All Blacks debut in June 2016, the loose forward has scored 24 tries. Only six players have scored more for a Tier One nation in that period, while he has also assisted a further 19 tries. No other forward has assisted more than 11. Savea has also dotted down in each of his last two Tests against Argentina

Trivia
History may be against Argentina, but there is some hope for Los Pumas. This is the stage that New Zealand have bowed out at most often in the World Cup. The All Blacks have recorded a 50% win rate in semi-finals, their lowest at any stage of the World Cup.

All Blacks coach Ian Foster has made two changes to his starting XV from the side that put on a ‘dispossession’ masterclass to beat Ireland 28-24 at the same venue last Saturday. Sam Whitelock replaces Brodie Retallick in the second row and Mark Tele’a comes in for Leicester Fainga’anuku on the left wing. Telea was left out of the side that played in the quarter-finals after breaking team protocol. A further change to the substitutes sees hooker Samisoni Taukei’aho recalled in place of veteran Dane Coles.
