Well-travelled English coach Dylan Kerr is to have a second spell at Marumo Gallants, though this time with the club playing out of Bloemfontein.

Gallants purchased the topflight status of Moroka Swallows, another of Kerr’s former clubs, ahead of the new 2024/25 DStv Premiership season and will relocate to the Free State.

Kerr was in charge of Gallants when they made it to the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals in 2022/23, but were relegated from the topflight on the final day of the season, after which he left the team.

It was seemingly on good terms though because he is back, Gallants management have confirmed.

Kerr has spent most of his time in the Premier Soccer League in the Limpopo province with Black Leopards, Baroka FC, TTM and Gallants, but also had a year in charge of Swallows.

He saved several of his clubs from relegation and also lifted the Nedbank Cup with Gallants, then still known as TTM, in 2021.
