Power Dynamos have moved to the top of the MTN Super League following a 1-0 victory over Mutondo Stars on Sunday, as they profited from another slip-up by ZESCO United.

Salulani Phiri scored the only goal of the game from Austin Muwowo’s free-kick as Dynamos moved to 22 points from their 11 games, ahead of ZESCO on goal-difference.

The latter were held to a third draw in a row despite taking the lead against Green Buffaloes.

David Simukonda put them in front, but Moonga Chilimba equalised for home side Buffaloes and the points were shared.

Defending champions Red Arrows played to a 1-1 draw with Green Eagles on Saturday.

They took the lead through Alassane Diarra just before halftime, but Amity Shamende equalised midway through the second period.

Nkana FC kept up their good recent run with a 3-0 win at bottom side Indeni, who remain winless this season.

Idris Mbombo, Charles Zulu and Christopher Ilonda scored the goals for Nkana, who climb to eighth in the table on the back of three successive wins.

Kabwe Warriors were also 3-0 winners over Atletico Lusaka as Godfrey Binga, Simon Tonga and Gabriel Banda all found the back of the net, and NAPSA Stars edged Zanaco away thanks to a Evans Kayombo goal in the first half.

Susu Mukabanga and Christopher Chola were on target as Nkwazi won 2-0 at Forest Rangers and Mufulira Wanderers defeated Nchanga Rangers by the same scoreline.

Clive Biyeta and Makungu Collins netted in the second half.

Finally, FC MUZA defeated Lumwana Radiants 2-1 as Andrew Phiri and Biston Banda scored either side of an Abraham Kanyangala goal for Radiants.
