The top two will meet in the MTN Super League on Saturday as leaders Power Dynamos travel to Zesco United looking to extend their slender advantage at the top of the table.

A run of three straight draws by Zesco has allowed the chasing pack to close in and Dynamos have stormed to the top of the table on goal difference as they seek a sixth win in succession.

There is no doubt they are the form team after a tough start to the campaign, but the last four meetings between these sides have all ended in a draw.

Dynamos claimed a 2-1 away win in December 2021, the last time either side won, while Zesco’s previous victory was in the February of that year when they were victors by the same scoreline.

Third-place Green Buffaloes are three points back and go to a Napsa Stars side that have found some form of late and are on a four-game unbeaten run (W2 D2). Buffaloes have an identical record from their last four.

The previous six clashes between these sides have all been won by the home team.

Kabwe Warriors are also three points off the pace and travel to Lumwana Radiants.

Warriors are seeking a hat-trick of wins, but Radiants are on a horror run of form with no wins in their last six (D2 L4), which includes three defeats on the bounce.

Champions Red Arrows have hit a sticky patch having taken a single point from the last six available and are at Nchanga Rangers, who made a bright start to the campaign but have faded in recent months.

They are winless since August (D4 L4) and have dipped into the relegation zone, but there has been only one away win (Red Arrows in 2015) in the last 25 league clashes between these sides.

Nkana will hope to continue their climb up the table with a fourth win in a row when they host Forest Rangers on Sunday. Rangers, by contrast, are winless in four (D2 L2).

The last seven meetings have seen two wins each and three draws.

In other matches on Saturday, Nkwazi host Zanaco and bottom side Indeni go to Green Eagles still in search of a first win of the campaign.

In two other matches on Sunday, Mutondo Stars host FC Muza and Atletico Lusaka welcome Mufulira Wanderers.
